Important Safety Instructions
Please keep this manual for future reference. Read thoroughly before installation and use. Ensure proper assembly, maintenance, and usage. Consult a physician before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions or are taking medication affecting heart rate, blood pressure, or cholesterol.
General Safety Precautions:
- Always pay attention to your body signals. Stop exercising immediately if you experience any discomfort (headache, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, dizziness).
- Keep children and pets away from the machine. This equipment is for adult use only.
- Use the machine on a stable, horizontal ground level. Use a protective layer on the floor to prevent damage. Maintain at least 0.6m (2.0 ft) clearance from obstacles.
- Check all screws and nuts are properly tightened before use.
- Safe use is guaranteed with regular maintenance and timely replacement of worn or broken parts.
- Follow instructions in this manual. Stop use if any defective parts are found or abnormal sounds are heard, and resolve issues before resuming.
- Wear appropriate sports clothing and shoes. Avoid loose-fitting clothing that could get caught.
- The maximum user weight is 180kg.
- This machine is for home use and not for professional medical treatment.
- Periodically check the overall performance and moving parts for safety.
- Keep children away from the machine; it is not a toy. Children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced capabilities, may use the appliance under supervision and with understanding of hazards. Children should not perform cleaning or maintenance without supervision.
Care & Maintenance:
- Do not store the machine in direct sunlight, rain, or high humidity.
- Check for rust or cracks after long-term storage.
- Understand that consumable parts may wear out even with proper maintenance.
- For long-term use, wipe dust regularly. Do not use water directly, or clean with gasoline, abrasive powder, etc., as this may cause cracks, electric shock, or fire. Use a dilute neutral detergent for maintenance.

Installation Guide
It is recommended that two people assemble the machine.
STEP 1: Assemble Front Foot Tube & Support Foot Pad
Attach the Front Foot Tube (A3) to the Main Frame (A1) using 4PCS Hex Socket Button Head Screws (23) and the Multi-function Wrench (T1). Attach the Support Foot Pad (A10) to the Main Frame (A1) using 2PCS Hex Socket Button Head Screws (23) and the Multi-function Wrench (T1). The Hex Socket Button Head Screws (23) include Spring Washers and Flat Washers.
STEP 2: Assemble Rear Foot Tube
Attach the Rear Foot Tube (A4) to the Slide Rail (A2) using 4PCS Hex Socket Button Head Screws (23) and the Multi-function Wrench (T1). Ensure screws are tightened before proceeding.
STEP 3: Assemble Seat Cushion
Place the Seat Cushion (A5) onto the Slide Rail (A2) in the direction indicated by the arrows, ensuring it is in the correct orientation.
STEP 4: Assemble Slide Rail
Attach the Slide Rail (A2) to the Main Frame (A1). Use 2PCS Hex Countersunk Head Bolts (88), 2PCS Nuts (22), the Multi-function Wrench (T1), and the Allen Key (T2) for the outer attachment. For the main frame attachment, use 4PCS Hex Socket Flat Round Head Bolts (91), 4PCS Spring Washers (40), and 4PCS Flat Washers (39) with the Multi-function Wrench (T1).
STEP 5: Assemble Pedal
Pass the Pedal Limit Shaft (A9) through the Right Pedal (A7), the Main Frame (A1), and the Left Pedal (A6) in sequence. Attach the Right Pedal (A7) and Left Pedal (A6) to the Main Frame (A1) with 2PCS Hex Socket Bolts (24) respectively, tightening with the Multi-function Wrench (T1). Lift the machine and fix the Pedal Limit Shaft (A9) with 1PCS Hex Socket Flat Round Head Bolt (26) and the Allen Key (T2).
STEP 6: Assemble Monitor
Connect the wires of the Monitor (A8) to the Main Frame (A1). Attach the Monitor (A8) to the Main Frame (A1) using 3PCS Hex Socket Bolts (29) and the Multi-function Wrench (T1). The Hex Socket Bolts (29) include Spring Washers and Flat Washers. Place the Decorative Cover (47) into the groove of the Main Frame (A1).
Adjustment Instructions
Foot Pad Adjustment Instructions:
When using, adjust the Support Foot Pad (A10) to be 3-5 mm from the ground. If the machine tilts, adjust the Support Foot Pad (A10) to 5-10 mm from the ground.
Adjust Resistance Instructions:
There are three methods to adjust resistance:
METHOD 1: Rotate the knob on the Monitor (A8). Clockwise increases resistance (1-16), counterclockwise decreases resistance (16-1).
METHOD 2: Use the wireless handle. Press the [+] button to increase resistance (1-16) and the [-] button to decrease resistance (16-1).
METHOD 3: Adjust resistance automatically following the Rehearsal Course.
Replace Battery Instructions:
Pull out the battery compartment, replace the CR2032 button battery, and reinstall it. The compartment is located on the back of the monitor.
Storage Instructions:
To prevent the Seat Cushion (A5) from sliding down, move it to the front end of the Slide Rail (A2). Grasp the Rear Foot Tube (A4) with both hands and lift the machine until the Foot Pad (64) touches the ground. Place the machine vertically against a wall or fixed surface, in a safe place away from children.
Self-Generating System Operating Instructions
1. Start by initiating motion. The system powers on, enters standby mode, and can connect to the Bluetooth app or start directly.
2. Press the knob or operate the machine to begin. The knob displays workout parameters and adjusts resistance levels.
3. During exercise, the built-in generator produces electricity to power the knob display and resistance adjustment. Excess energy is stored in the built-in battery.
4. When exercise stops, the battery powers the knob and resistance system. If there is no activity for 3 minutes, the knob enters sleep mode, and the battery system goes into deep sleep.
5. If the device is unused for an extended period, the battery may experience slight power consumption. If the machine display is off or flickering, run it continuously for over 10 minutes to charge the battery. Alternatively, charge via the USB-C port (5V ⎓ 1A) at the rear of the machine.

Modes:
- Free Training Mode: In standby, the speed window shows P01.
- Pause Mode: After stopping for more than 5 seconds, the device enters pause mode, and the speed window displays "PAU".
- APP: MERACH, KINOMAP.
II. Operation Guide:
- Press the monitor knob or start exercise to enter the movement interface.
- Exercise Program Mode: Rotate the knob to enter program mode (P01-P10) in standby. OPERACTION: Rotate knob to adjust; short press knob to enter. Select Program (P01-P10), adjust Countdown Time, Start Exercise.
- Countdown Mode: In standby, press the side button to enter countdown mode. Speed window shows "L", time window flashes "30:00". OPERACTION: Rotate knob to adjust; short press knob to enter. Adjust time. Short press side button to switch to Distance Countdown Mode (DIS window flashes "5.00"), adjust with knob. Short press side button to switch to Calorie Countdown Mode (CAL window flashes "5.00"), adjust with knob. Short press knob to start exercise.
- Long press the side button for 3 seconds to reset the monitor.
III. Instructions for Mode (Exercise Program Mode):
A table detailing 10 exercise programs (P01-P10) with names, default times, and resistance levels for each minute of the workout.

IV. Others:
- The monitor supports a 5-second pause for no-operation. After 2 minutes of inactivity, data clears and resets. After 3 minutes, it enters "Sleep Mode" with the display off.
- After Bluetooth connection, switching to Exercise Program Mode and Countdown Mode is not possible.
V. Charging Function:
Charge other devices via the USB port or USB-C port on the side of the monitor.
VI. Error Description:
- E01: Motor malfunction
- E05: Communication failure between electronic meter and lower control unit.
APP Setup Instructions
Download and use of MERACH:
- Scan the QR code or search "MERACH" in the Apple App Store® or Google Play Store to download the MERACH app.
- Open the MERACH app, Log In or Sign Up.
- Follow the in-app instructions to set up your device.
Download and use of KINOMAP:
- Scan the QR code or search "Kinomap" in the Apple App Store® or Google Play Store to download the Kinomap app.
- Open the Kinomap app, Log In or Sign Up.
- Select the corresponding fitness equipment.
- Turn on Bluetooth, and choose MERACH.
- Select "Rowing machine", and find your "MRK-Q3-XXXX".
- Start training and explore different workout methods.
Warm-up
Perform stretches before exercising for 5-10 minutes. Do each stretch 3 times, holding for 10-15 seconds, with 10 seconds rest between repetitions.
- Stretch down: Bend knees slightly, lean forward, relax back and shoulders, try to touch toes.
- Seated hamstring stretch: Sit with one leg straight, bring the other foot to the inside of the straightened leg. Reach for toes.
- Calf and Achilles tendon stretch: Stand with hands against a wall, one foot behind the other, back leg straight, heel on the ground. Lean forward.
- Quadriceps stretch: Reach back with one hand, grab the foot, pull towards hips until thigh muscles feel tense.
- Sartorius (inner thigh muscle) stretch: Sit with feet facing each other, knees out. Grab feet and pull towards groin.
Note: This machine is full body training equipment. Follow these steps to warm up.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Solution |

Noise in rowing? | Apply car polishing wax on the belt. If malfunctioning, contact Customer Support. |
No rowing resistance? | Check if the handle has fallen off. The belt may be stuck in the pulley groove; adjust the belt to the center of the pulley. If malfunctioning, contact Customer Support. |
Machine shakes slightly or footpads lift during exercise? | Check if front and rear leg tubes are fastened. Adjust foot pads under the tubes for stability. Use a surface with better grip or an exercise mat. If malfunctioning, contact Customer Support. |
Pedals wobble or straps are loose? | Check if the fixing screw of the middle pedal shaft is tight. If malfunctioning, contact Customer Support. |
Maintenance Guide
To keep fitness equipment in good condition for optimal performance and longevity:
- Keep the Equipment Clean: Wipe surfaces with a mild cleaner, especially contact points like handles, seat, and rail. Avoid acidic/alkaline cleaners and water on the display screen. Ensure the slide rail is clean and running smoothly.
- Regularly Check Moving Parts: Inspect arms, wheels, pedals, etc., for smooth function and damage. Repair malfunctions promptly and lubricate moving parts.
- Inspect Electronic Components: Check the display screen, wires, and sensors for good condition. Contact the MERACH TEAM for any damage or malfunctions.
- Check and Tighten Hardware: Regularly check screws and bolts for looseness and tighten as needed. Vibrations can loosen parts over time.

No warranties exist beyond those expressly set forth.
This warranty is non-transferable. MERACH is not responsible for damages caused by equipment failure, user negligence, abuse, or improper operation not following the manual.
This warranty does not apply to:
- Damage due to abuse, accident, alteration, or vandalism.
