Safety Information

  1. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.
  2. Keep product out of the reach of children and pets to avoid chewing and swallowing.
  3. Product operating and storage temperature is from -20 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. Temperatures outside this range might affect the function.
  4. Never open the product. Touching the inside electrics can cause electric shock. Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel.
  5. Only charge with the original adapter supplied with this product!
  6. Only use with the attached accessories. Using non-original accessories can make the product work abnormally.

Quick Start Guide

Follow these steps to set up your smart Wi-Fi camera:

Preparation:

Download and Install App:

Download and install the "Tuya Smart" app from the App Store or Google Play.

Device Registration:

Open the Tuya Smart app. You will be prompted to register your device. Select your country, enter your email address, obtain a verification code, and set your chosen password to confirm.

For new users, please select "Agree" in the tips pop-up.

Important App Permissions:

Adding a Smart Wi-Fi Camera:

  1. Power On: Connect the camera's power cable to an adapter and plug the adapter into a socket. The green indicator light will flash slowly, and you will hear a beep.
  2. Add Device in App: Open the "Tuya Smart Home" app, tap the "+" icon, and then tap "Add Device."   3. Pairing: When the indicator light on the camera is flashing slowly, tap "Next" in the app.
  4. Wi-Fi Network: Select the same Wi-Fi network your phone or tablet is connected to and input the Wi-Fi password, then tap "Confirm." Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4 GHz network.   5. QR Code Scan: Tap "Continue." Your mobile phone will display a QR code. Position the camera to scan this QR code from approximately 15 cm to 20 cm away. [Screenshot description: Tuya Smart app displaying a QR code for the camera to scan.]
  6. Connection Confirmation: Once you hear a prompt sound from the camera, tap "I Heard a Prompt" in the app. The smart Wi-Fi camera will attempt to connect. Upon successful connection, the app will display "Added successfully" and "Security Camera added successfully." The camera indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid green. Detection Alarm Settings:

Navigate to "Detection Alarm Settings" within the app to turn the motion detection alarm on or off. When enabled, any detected motion will trigger a notification. You can check notifications on the "Message" tab. Motion alarm sensitivity levels can be set as follows:

Remove Device:

Tap "Remove Device" if you wish to delete this camera from your account.

Recording with Micro SD Card:

A Micro SD card (not included) enables Event Recording or Non-Stop Recording. When the card reaches its maximum storage capacity, it will automatically overwrite the oldest recording with new data. For long-term storage of important recordings, it is recommended to transfer them from the Micro SD card to your computer or another storage device. Recorded videos can be viewed via the playback icon in the app.
