Denver IOC-224 Smart Wi-Fi Camera

Safety Information

Please read the safety instructions carefully before using the product for the first time and keep the instructions for future reference.

1. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.
2. Keep product out of the reach of children and pets to avoid chewing and swallowing.
3. Product operating and storage temperature is from -20 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. Under and over this temperature might affect the function.
4. Never open the product. Touching the inside electrics can cause electric shock. Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel.
5. Only charge with the original adapter supplied with this product!
6. Only use with the attached accessories. Using non original accessories can make the product work abnormal.

Quick Start Guide

Preparation:

• Prepare your Wi-Fi network and password.
• Make sure your mobile device is running iOS 8 or higher or Android 10.0 or higher.
• Make sure a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network is used. A 5 GHz network is not supported.

App Installation:

Download and install the Tuya Smart app from the App Store ? or Google Play ▶️.

Note: For new users, please select "Agree" in the tips pop-up.

• Allow Tuya Smart to access mobile cellular data and wireless LAN; otherwise, you cannot add a camera.
• Enable the push notification function on Tuya Smart; otherwise, the phone will not receive alarm push notifications.
• Allow Tuya Smart to use the microphone when you want to use a 2-way audio function.

Adding a Smart Wi-Fi Camera:

Power on: Connect the camera power cable with an adapter and plug the adapter into the socket. The camera will automatically rotate horizontally and vertically, and then you will hear a beep.

Steps:

1. Open the “Tuya Smart Home” app, tap “+,” and then tap “Add Device.”
2. Choose “Camera & Lock” and then tap “Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)" to add a new smart Wi-Fi camera to your app.
3. When a prompt tone is heard, tap "Next".
4. Select the same connected Wi-Fi network of your phone or tablet and input the Wi-Fi password, then tap “Confirm.”
5. Tap "Continue,” and the mobile phone will display a QR code. Use the camera to scan the QR code 15 cm to 20 cm away from the mobile phone.
6. Tap "I Heard a Prompt" when you hear a prompt sound. The smart Wi-Fi camera is trying to connect to the app.

Once connected successfully, the app will show "Added successfully" and "Security Camera added successfully". Tap "Done" to view the live stream of your camera.

• App Download Screen: Shows a QR code for downloading the Tuya Smart app, with buttons for "Download on the App Store" and "Get it on Google Play".
• User Agreement Screen: Displays the User Agreement and Privacy Policy, with options to "Agree" or "Disagree".
• Login/Sign Up Screen: Presents options to "Log In", "Sign Up", or "Try as Guest".
• Add Device Screen: Shows the "Add Device" interface with various device categories, including "Camera & Lock" and "Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)".
• Wi-Fi Network Selection: Prompts the user to select a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Includes a link to "Common router setting method".
• QR Code Display: Shows a QR code for the camera to scan.
• Connecting Device Screen: Indicates the device is connecting, with a timer.
• Device Added Successfully Screen: Confirms that the "Security Camera" has been added successfully.

Settings & Features

Detection Alarm Settings:

Tap on “Detection Alarm Settings" to turn on/off the motion detection alarm. Once turned on, any motions detected will leave a notification.

You can check notifications on the “Message” tab of the app. Motion alarm sensitivity level can be set as follows:

• Low Sensitivity – records any movements within 5 meters
• Medium Sensitivity – records any movements within 10 meters
• High Sensitivity – records any movements within 15 meters

Remove Device:

Tap on “Remove Device" if you want to delete this camera.

Recording:

Note: A Micro SD card (not included) will perform Event Recording or Non-Stop Recording. Upon reaching its maximum storage capacity, the card will automatically overwrite the oldest recording. This will erase the oldest recording and replace it with the new recording. For longer access to important recordings, it is recommended to move the recordings from the Micro SD card to your computer, etc. You can view recorded videos under the playback icon.
