  1. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.
  2. Keep product out of the reach of children and pets to avoid chewing and swallowing.
  3. Never use old and new batteries or different types of batteries together in the main unit. Remove the batteries when you are not using the device for a longer period of time. Check the polarity (+/-) of the batteries when inserting them in the product. Wrong positioning can cause an explosion. Batteries are not included.
  4. Product operating and storage temperature is from -20 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius. Temperatures outside this range might affect the function.
  5. Never open the product. Do not touch the inside electronics, or you may get an electric shock. Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel.
  6. Do not expose to heat or direct sunlight!
  7. Do not use non-original accessories together with the product as this can make the product functionality abnormal.

Device Overview

The trail camera features:

Powering the Device

Open the battery cover and insert 8 AA batteries, observing the polarity signs (+/-). Close the battery cover to ensure water and dust resistance.

Alternatively, you can use an external power supply with a 9-12V adapter.

APP Download and Setup

  1. Scan the QR code or search for "TUYA Smart" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to download the app.
  2. Open the app and create an account by clicking "Sign Up". Enter your phone number or email and complete the registration. Log in to the app.

Adding the Device

  1. Ensure the product is turned on and set to "test" mode.
  2. Insert a SIM card and an SD card.
  3. In the Tuya app, tap "Add Device" or the '+' icon in the upper right corner. Navigate to "Outdoor Travel" and find "4G Camera", or tap the "Scan" icon in the top right corner.
  4. On your camera, press the menu button, enter "Network", and select "Device ID". A QR code will appear.
  5. Scan the QR code with the Tuya Smart App to connect the product.
  6. Once connected, you will see "Added successfully" on the app. Switch the camera from "test" mode to "on" mode.

Access the camera control/preview interface in the Tuya app to configure settings. The main settings include:

Video and Pictures

Pictures

If the camera is activated and set to take pictures, access "Me" > "Message center" on the Tuya Smart app home page to view pictures.

Notifications

You will receive notifications when the camera is activated and a video or picture is available.

SIM and SD Cards

Both a SIM card and an SD card are required for the full functionality of the camera.

SIM Card

Use a standard size (large) 4G SIM card. Ensure there is no PIN code enabled on the SIM card.

SD Card

The camera supports microSD cards up to 256GB. The SD card must be formatted in FAT32.
