Download the V380 Pro App
Search for "V380 Pro" in the App Store or scan the QR code below to download and install the V380 Pro APP.
Reset the Camera
- Power on the camera.
- Press and hold the reset button for several seconds. The camera will prompt "Restore factory default setting".
? Note: The position of the reset button is for reference only, depending on your device.
Add a Device
? Note: Turn on your phone's WiFi before you add a camera.
Add Device Using Camera Body QR Code Tag
1. Open the V380 Pro APP to register your account and log in. Click the [+] button on the home page.
2. Scan the QR code of the camera body tag with your phone.
? Note: The camera body QR code tag is usually located at the bottom or on the side of the device.
Add Device Manually (If QR Code is Damaged)
If the camera body tag is damaged, you can scan the QR code below for Tutorial Videos. You can also add the device by its ID.
? Note: When the APP version is upgraded, please take the actual APP interface as the basis.
Network Configuration
WiFi Selection
- Connect your mobile phone to a 2.4GHz WiFi network first.
- Confirm the connected WiFi and enter the password.
? Note: Please select WiFi without "5G". The WiFi name should not contain any special characters.
QR Code Configuration
1. The APP will generate a QR code. Use the camera to scan this QR code.
2. After the camera identifies the QR code successfully, it will prompt "Configuration received". Click "I have heard the tone" in the APP after hearing that tone.
3. After the connection is completed, it will prompt "WiFi connected".
Hotspot Configuration (AP Hotspot Connection)
1. Click "Can't find the QR code on the device?".
2. Select "WiFi Smart Camera" -> "AP hotspot connection".
3. Follow the device's voice prompts to select the network configuration method (e.g., "access point ready").
4. Connect your phone to the device's hotspot (e.g., "MV+ID").
5. The device will automatically connect to WiFi after returning to the APP.
? Note: Please connect your phone to the WiFi required by your device first.
For Android:
- Select WiFi and enter your WiFi password.
- Select "Connect AP hotspot" button and connect to the device hotspot (MV+ID).
- The device will automatically connect to WiFi after returning to the APP.
For iOS:
- Enter your WiFi password. (If you want to connect to other WiFi, please connect your mobile phone to the WiFi you need and then return to the APP to refresh).
- Select "Connect AP hotspot" button and connect to the device hotspot (MV+ID).
- The device will automatically connect to WiFi after returning to the APP.
Adding Completed
1. The APP automatically connects the camera.
2. After the camera is successfully networked, you can create groups for the camera and set its name.
Using Your Camera
Real-time Preview
The added camera can be viewed in the device list. Tap the camera to view the real-time preview interface.
Video Replay
After connecting the camera in the APP, open the real-time preview interface and click "Replay" in the function bar to view recorded videos.
Video Recording with Micro SD Card
Before installing the Micro SD card, power off the camera. Turn on the power after installation.
Ordinary cameras support up to 128GB capacity TF cards. The format for 32GB and below is "FAT32". The format for 64GB and above is "exFAT".
Settings
In the device list, click the settings icon (⚙️) for the camera.
- Recording Settings:
- Continuous recording: The camera records continuously during its working period.
- Event recording: Recording starts only when an alarm is triggered.
- Record audio: Enable or disable audio recording.
- Video Quality Setting: You can set the video quality to HD or SD.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: The camera can't connect to WiFi.
A: 1. Ensure the password entered is correct. 2. Confirm the connected WiFi is 2.4GHz (select 2.4GHz if using a dual-band router). 3. The WiFi name should not contain special symbols and should not be hidden. Router restrictions like AP isolation or WiFi squatter prevention should be disabled.
Q: There is a prompt "Device offline" in the device list.
A: 1. Restart the camera and ensure it starts normally and connects to WiFi. 2. Turn off router functions like firewall, blacklist, WiFi squatter prevention, or MAC address binding. Ensure the router is connected to WAN for remote preview. 3. If the router is replaced or the WiFi password is changed, reset the camera and reconfigure the network.
Important Attentions
- The camera only supports 2.4GHz WiFi. Please confirm your mobile phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi before network configuration.
- Regarding Micro SD card recording, when the recording volume reaches the upper limit, the earliest recording file will be automatically overwritten.
- Long-term use in unconventional environments (high temperature, high humidity, heavy dust or smoke, etc.) may damage the camera.
- The V380 Pro APP and device firmware are updated periodically. For the best experience, please update the APP and device firmware in time.
