Resetting the Camera

If you need to restore your camera to its factory default settings:

  1. Connect the camera to a power source.
  2. Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds. You will hear a voice prompt indicating "restore factory default setting".

Note: The location of the reset button may vary depending on the camera model.

Connecting the Camera via QR Code

This method uses your camera's unique QR code to establish a connection.

  1. Ensure your mobile phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network before proceeding.
  2. Open the V380 Pro app and register for an account or log in.
  3. On the main screen, tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
  4. Select the option to scan the camera's QR code.
  5. Position your mobile phone so that the camera can scan the QR code located on the base or back of the camera.
  6. The app will then guide you through connecting the camera to your Wi-Fi network. You will need to select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter its password.

Wi-Fi Configuration Notes:

  • Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as 5GHz networks are not supported.
  • The Wi-Fi password should not exceed 20 characters and should avoid special symbols or accents that might not be recognized by the app.

After successful scanning and Wi-Fi configuration, the app will automatically connect the camera to your router. You can then name your camera and assign it to a room (e.g., "Living Room", "Bedroom").

Connecting the Camera via AP Mode

If the camera's QR code is not accessible or readable, you can use AP (Access Point) mode.

  1. In the app, if you cannot find the QR code, select the option to use AP mode.
  2. First, connect your mobile phone to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the camera. This network typically starts with "MV" followed by the camera's ID.
  3. Once connected to the camera's network, return to the V380 Pro app.
  4. For Android devices: Select your home Wi-Fi network and enter the password. The camera will then automatically reconnect to your home Wi-Fi network after establishing the connection.
  5. For iOS devices: Enter your home Wi-Fi password. If you need to connect to a different Wi-Fi network, ensure your phone is connected to that network before proceeding. Select "Connect AP" to connect the camera to your chosen Wi-Fi network. The camera will automatically switch back to your home Wi-Fi after the connection is made.

Real-time View and Playback

Once your camera is successfully added, it will appear on the app's main screen. Tap on the camera's listing to view the live feed. You can also access recorded footage stored on a micro SD card.

Micro SD Card Recording

The V380 Pro camera supports recording to a micro SD card (up to 128GB).

Installation:

Before inserting the micro SD card, ensure the camera is powered off. Insert the card when the camera is off.

Formatting:

  • For cards below 32GB, format them to FAT32.
  • For cards 64GB and above, format them to exFAT.

Recording Configuration:

Access the camera's settings from the main list to configure recording options:

  • Continuous Recording: The camera records non-stop for the specified duration.
  • Event Recording: Recording begins automatically when motion is detected.
  • Audio Recording: Enable or disable audio capture for recordings.

Video Quality:

You can choose between high-definition (HD) or standard-definition (SD) quality for your recordings.
