Resetting the Camera
If you need to restore your camera to its factory default settings:
- Connect the camera to a power source.
- Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds. You will hear a voice prompt indicating "restore factory default setting".
Note: The location of the reset button may vary depending on the camera model.
Connecting the Camera via QR Code
This method uses your camera's unique QR code to establish a connection.
- Ensure your mobile phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network before proceeding.
- Open the V380 Pro app and register for an account or log in.
- On the main screen, tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
- Select the option to scan the camera's QR code.
- Position your mobile phone so that the camera can scan the QR code located on the base or back of the camera.
- The app will then guide you through connecting the camera to your Wi-Fi network. You will need to select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter its password.
Wi-Fi Configuration Notes:
- Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as 5GHz networks are not supported.
- The Wi-Fi password should not exceed 20 characters and should avoid special symbols or accents that might not be recognized by the app.
After successful scanning and Wi-Fi configuration, the app will automatically connect the camera to your router. You can then name your camera and assign it to a room (e.g., "Living Room", "Bedroom").

Connecting the Camera via AP Mode
If the camera's QR code is not accessible or readable, you can use AP (Access Point) mode.
- In the app, if you cannot find the QR code, select the option to use AP mode.
- First, connect your mobile phone to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the camera. This network typically starts with "MV" followed by the camera's ID.
- Once connected to the camera's network, return to the V380 Pro app.
- For Android devices: Select your home Wi-Fi network and enter the password. The camera will then automatically reconnect to your home Wi-Fi network after establishing the connection.
- For iOS devices: Enter your home Wi-Fi password. If you need to connect to a different Wi-Fi network, ensure your phone is connected to that network before proceeding. Select "Connect AP" to connect the camera to your chosen Wi-Fi network. The camera will automatically switch back to your home Wi-Fi after the connection is made.
