- Do not dismantle, open, or shred secondary batteries.
- If a secondary battery leaks, avoid contact with skin or eyes. Wash affected areas with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
- Charge secondary batteries before use. Always follow manufacturer's charging instructions.

Hazardous Substances Restriction (India): This product complies with India's E-Waste (Management) Rules regarding hazardous substances. Maximum allowable concentrations are 0.1% by weight for Lead, Mercury, Hexavalent Chromium, PBBs, PBDEs, and 0.01% by weight for Cadmium, with specified exemptions.
Hearing Safety: High volume may adversely affect your hearing. Do not use the unit while walking, driving, or cycling to prevent traffic accidents. Do not use in hazardous areas where surrounding sound cannot be heard.
Water and Foreign Matter: If water or foreign matter enters the unit, it may cause fire or electric shock. Stop use immediately and consult a Sony dealer. Be careful near sinks or liquid containers, in rain or snow, or in humid locations. Ensure earbud tips are securely attached to prevent them from remaining in the ear during use.
USB Charging Safety: Never insert the USB plug when the unit or charging cable is wet. This can cause a short circuit, abnormal heat generation, or malfunction.
Medical Device Interference: This product contains magnets that may interfere with pacemakers, programmable shunt valves, or other medical devices. Consult your doctor before use if you use such devices. Keep the product away from children to prevent accidental ingestion of magnets, which can cause serious harm.

On Water Resistance of the Unit
- The charging case is not water resistant.
- Incorrect use may allow water to enter the unit, causing fire, electrocution, or malfunctions. Follow precautions carefully.
To Maintain Water Resistance Performance
- Do not forcibly splash water into the sound output holes.
- Do not drop the unit into water or use it underwater.
- Do not leave the unit wet in cold environments where water may freeze. Wipe off any water after use to prevent malfunction.
- Do not place the unit in water or use it in humid places like bathrooms.
- Do not drop the unit or expose it to mechanical shock, as this can deform or damage it, leading to reduced water resistance.
On Bluetooth Communications
- Microwaves from Bluetooth devices may affect electronic medical devices. Turn off this unit and other Bluetooth devices in locations such as hospitals, near priority seating on trains, areas with flammable gas, near automatic doors, or fire alarms to prevent accidents.
On Charging the Unit
- Observe precautions to prevent fire, burns, injury, or electric shock.
- Do not attach metallic objects to the wireless charger or the unit.
- When using wireless charging, remove the charging case cover and do not place metallic objects on the wireless charger.
- If unusual occurrences like odor, sound, smoke, overheating, or deformation happen during wireless charging, safely remove the unit from the charger.
- Consult your doctor before using the wireless charging pad if you have implanted medical devices like pacemakers. Radio waves may affect their operation.
- Use the supplied USB Type-C cable.
Notes on Wearing the Unit
- Remove headphones slowly after use.
- Forcibly pressing in or quickly pulling out earbud tips, which create a tight seal, can damage the eardrum. A click sound from the speaker diaphragm when wearing earbud tips is not a malfunction.
On Earbud Tips (Noise Isolation Earbud Tips)
- Earbud tips fitted in the ear increase the risk of ear canal irritation. Discontinue use if discomfort occurs.
- Earbud tips are consumables and may deteriorate or break with long-term use. Deteriorated tips compromise audio performance (sound quality, noise canceling). Replace them regularly.
- If an earbud tip cracks, peels, chips, or its mesh tears, parts may remain in your ear, causing injury or illness. Replace damaged tips immediately.
- Avoid washing with water, wet wipes, or organic solvents like alcohol, as these can cause premature deterioration.
Other Notes
- Stop using the unit immediately if you experience discomfort.
- For questions or problems not covered in this manual, consult your nearest Sony dealer.
Location of the Serial Number Label: The serial number label is located on the bottom of the charging case.
