Installing Your Lamp Dimmer
Step 1: Turn on the lamp
Turn on the lamp you want to control and unplug it.
Step 2: Connect the lamp(s)
Plug the lamp cord into either side of the Caséta plug-in lamp dimmer.
If you want to control a second lamp, turn it on and plug it into the other side.

Step 3: Plug in the lamp dimmer
Plug the dimmer into a wall outlet.

Important Note
? Use only with dimmable LED, halogen, or incandescent lamps.

Using Your Caséta by Lutron Kit
Step 1: Install the Lutron smart hub
The Caséta plug-in dimmer can be controlled from a smartphone when used with the Lutron smart hub. All devices must be within 30 ft (9 m) from the Lutron smart hub.
A. Connect the smart hub to your Wi-Fi router using the Ethernet cable.
B. Connect the power cord to the smart hub and plug it into an outlet.

Step 2: Download the Lutron app and walk through setup
Search for "Lutron App" on Google Play or the App Store.

Step 3: Use the Lutron app to complete ALL remaining steps
Actions available in the app include: Add devices (Pico remotes, dimmers, shades), Control three ways, Schedule your lights, Connect while away.

Troubleshooting
