Plug-in lamp dimmer (PD-3PCL)

Installing Your Lamp Dimmer
Step 1: Turn on the lamp
Turn on the lamp you want to control and unplug it.
Step 2: Connect the lamp(s)
Plug the lamp cord into either side of the Caséta™ Wireless plug-in lamp dimmer. If controlling a second lamp, turn it on and plug it into the other side.
Important Note:
Use only with dimmable LED, dimmable CFL, halogen, or incandescent lamps. Do not exceed the total maximum wattage shown below:

Using Your Controls
Plug-in Lamp Dimmer Controls
On/Off: Press the top button to turn the lamp on or off.
Brighter: Press the top button to increase brightness.
Darker: Press the bottom button to decrease brightness.
Pico® Remote Control (Sold Separately)
On/Off: Press the top button to turn the lamp on or off.
Brighter: Press the middle button to increase brightness.
Darker: Press the bottom button to decrease brightness.
Favorite: Press the round button to recall a favorite light level (default is 50%, adjustable).

Using Your Caséta™ Wireless Plug-in Lamp Dimmer
With a Smartphone or Tablet (Bridge Required, Sold Separately)
The Caséta™ Wireless plug-in lamp dimmer can be controlled from a smartphone when used with the Lutron® Smart Bridge™. If using the dimmer and remote control with the Lutron® Smart Bridge™, follow the instructions below. (Note: If using with another manufacturer's bridge, refer to that manufacturer's instructions for setup.)
1. Download the Lutron® App
Search for "Lutron Caseta" on the Google Play or App Store. Visit www.casetawireless.com/LutronApp.
2. Launch the Lutron® App
The Lutron® app will guide you through setting up your devices.
3. Complete Remaining Steps
Use the Lutron® app to add devices (Pico remotes, dimmers, shades), control lights in multiple ways, schedule your lights, and connect while away.
Without a Smartphone or Tablet (Bridge Not Required)
Pairing the Lamp Dimmer and Pico® Remote Control (Sold Separately)
Step 1: Press and hold "Off" button on dimmer
Hold for 6 seconds until the LED starts blinking.
Step 2: Press and hold "Off" button on remote
Hold for 6 seconds until lights flash 3 times.
Step 3: Set desired light level on dimmer
Adjust the dimmer to your preferred brightness.
Step 4: Press and hold "Favorite" button on remote
Hold for 6 seconds until the plug-in lamp dimmer LED blinks twice. The new favorite level is now saved. Repeat steps to pair other Pico® remote controls.
Changing the Favorite Light Level on the Pico® Remote Control (Optional, Sold Separately)
You can use the round "Favorite" button on the Pico® remote control to recall a favorite light level. The default is 50%, but you can change it to any level you like.
