Overview
This document provides essential information for the installation, wiring, and operation of the Cell2 LP22 4LED Square Warning Lighthead. It details connection procedures, flash pattern selection, and mounting guidelines to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Wiring Guide
Proper wiring is crucial for the lighthead's operation. Connections include:
- WHITE: To +VDC for Warning Mode (fuse @ 1A).
- BLACK: To Chassis Ground.
- BROWN: For Synchronisation and Flash Pattern control. Connect BROWN wires of all lightheads together for synchronisation, ensuring all units are set to the same flash pattern.
Ensure mounting surfaces are flat to prevent bending or water ingress. For adhesive mounts, ensure the surface is clean and dry.
Operation Instructions
The lighthead offers features for simultaneous or alternating flash patterns and custom pattern selection.
Simultaneous or Alternating Flash:
- Enter SETTING MODE by powering up with WHITE and BROWN wires simultaneously. Remove BROWN wire from +VDC; the lighthead will display short flashes (single for Group 1, double for Group 2).
- Momentarily apply the BROWN wire to +VDC to change Groups. Lightheads in the same group flash together; different groups flash alternately.
- Save settings and exit SETTING MODE by disconnecting power.
Flash Pattern Selection:
While the warning mode is active, momentarily apply the BROWN wire to +VDC:
- Once: Selects the next pattern.
- Three times quickly: Resets to Flash Pattern #1 (FP#1).
Reset to Factory Default Settings:
- Apply +VDC to WHITE and BROWN wires simultaneously to enter SETTING MODE.
- Remove the BROWN wire from +VDC, then momentarily apply it to +VDC again for over 5 seconds. Fast short flashes indicate successful reset.
Refer to the Flash Pattern Chart for available patterns (FP# 1-18).

Installation Guide
Two mounting methods are described:
Screw Mount:
- Drill two mounting holes and one wire passage hole on the surface. Ensure no vehicle parts are damaged during drilling. Use a grommet if needed.
- Route wires through the tape pad and passage hole. Secure the lighthead with provided screws.
Quick Mount (Adhesive):
- Drill a wire passage hole. Ensure no vehicle parts are damaged. Use a grommet if needed.
- Clean and dry the mounting surface using an alcohol prep pad or isopropyl alcohol/water mix.
- Remove the tape liner from the lighthead.
- Route wires through the tape pad and passage hole.
- Apply the lighthead to the surface and press firmly for 30 seconds.
- Full adhesion is achieved after 72 hours at room temperature.
The lighthead must be mounted on a flat surface. It may be mounted in any direction.
Important Cautions
CAUTION: Overtightening mounting screws can damage the lighthead and void the warranty. Use a torque wrench. For #6 mounting screws, tighten to 6-7.8 lbs-in (6.9-9 kgf-cm).
