Assembly Steps
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your JOOLA ROLLOMAT PRO table tennis table.
Step A: Base Frame Assembly
This step involves connecting the main frame components. It requires two people (indicated by 2x). Use hardware 11 and 12 to attach part 3 to the frame. Pay attention to part 17 (safety unit); ensure its nut is not over-tightened so the red part can move freely, as detailed on page 4. The diagram shows the undercarriage (part 2) being connected to the frame.
- Connect the two main frame sections using part 3 and hardware 11 and 12.
- Ensure the safety unit (part 17) is not over-tightened, allowing the red part to move freely.
Step B: Attaching Legs and Supports
Attach the leg assemblies (part 4) and support rods (part 9) to the frame. This uses hardware 11, 13, and part 5. The diagram illustrates attaching the legs to the frame and then installing the support rods.
- Attach the leg assemblies (part 4) to the frame using hardware 11 and 13.
- Install the support rods (part 9) using part 5 and hardware 11.
Step C: Attaching Net Posts and Handles
This step focuses on attaching the handles (part 6) and footings (part 7) to the frame. It utilizes hardware 11, 14, 15, and 16, along with part 6. The diagram shows the process of attaching handles and footings.
- Attach the handles (part 6) to the frame using hardware 11 and 16.
- Secure the footings (part 7) using hardware 11 and 15.
- Attach the net post brackets (part 14) using hardware 6.
Step D: Securing Table Halves
This step involves joining the two halves of the table top. It requires two people (indicated by 2x) and uses hardware 11 and 17. The diagram shows the table halves being joined and secured with bolts and nuts. A crucial detail is to ensure the safety mechanism (part 17) allows movement, as noted on page 4. A "CLACK" sound is indicated, suggesting a locking mechanism.
- Align the two table top halves.
- Secure the table halves using hardware 11 and 17.
- Ensure the safety unit (part 17) is not over-tightened, allowing the red part to move freely.
- Listen for the "CLACK" sound to confirm proper engagement.
Step E: Folding Mechanism Components
Attach components related to the folding mechanism. This step uses hardware 8, 9, 11, 12, 18, and 19. The diagram illustrates attaching brackets (part 8) and connecting rods (part 9) with bolts.
- Attach the connecting brackets (part 8) to the frame using hardware 11 and 12.
- Connect the support rods (part 9) using hardware 11, 18, and 19.
Step F: Final Adjustments and Checks
Perform final adjustments and checks to ensure the table is properly assembled and functions correctly. This step uses hardware 11, 18, and 19. The diagram shows tightening bolts related to the folding mechanism.
- Ensure all bolts are securely tightened, but do not over-tighten nuts on safety elements.
- Check the folding and unfolding mechanism for smooth operation.
- If present, carefully remove any protective film from the playing surface.
