Assembly and Setup
- Remove lamp from packing, placing lamp body base (A) flat on a steady surface.
- Connect power adapter input (F) into connector (G) in the rear-bottom of the lamp.
- Plug the power adapter (H) into a standard household 120V AC outlet. Note: Only use with the supplied power adapter to avoid damage or fire.
- Power switch (B) is a "touch" switch that controls ON/OFF power, the LED brightness settings, and the color mode function of the lamp.
- To adjust LED brightness settings, slightly touch the switch:
- Turn lamp "ON" to 1st brightness setting; touch the switch "once".
- For 2nd brightness setting; touch the switch "two-times".
- For 3rd brightness setting; touch the switch "three-times".
- To turn lamp "OFF"; touch the switch "four-times".
- This lamp provides three color modes. To adjust lighting color mode, slightly "press and hold" switch (B) for three seconds to switch light color temperature mode: 5000°K, 2700°K, 4000°K.
- To reposition the light, hold the lamp base (A) steady and grasp either lamp body (C) or shade (D) depending on needed adjustment.
Diagram 1: Lamp Overview and Display
Diagram 1 illustrates the Rise LED Desk Lamp. Key components are labeled:
- Base (A): The stable foundation of the lamp.
- Power Switch (B): A touch-sensitive button on the base for power and settings.
- Lamp Body (C): The main structure holding the light source.
- Lamp Head/Shade (D): The adjustable part containing the LED panel.
- LED Panel (E): The light-emitting surface.
- Power Adapter Input (F): The port for connecting the power adapter.
- Connector (G): The socket on the lamp base for the power adapter input.
- Power Adapter (H): The external adapter for powering the lamp.
- Control Panel (J): Located on the base, featuring buttons for settings and display.
- Battery Compartment Door (M): Access point for the internal battery.
- USB Output Port (L): Located on the rear bottom of the lamp for charging devices.
The digital display on the control panel shows:
- Current Time (e.g., PM 21:07)
- Date and Day of the Week (e.g., 1/11 SUN)
- Temperature (e.g., 83°F or 28°C)
The control panel (J) includes the following buttons:
- [Setting Button] (S): Used to set time and calendar. In alarm mode, pressing this button turns off the alarm.
- [Mode Button] (M): Used to set the alarm and snooze functions.
- [Up Button] (^): In setting mode, increases values. Under normal mode, switches between 12h and 24h display.
- [Down Button] (v): In setting mode, decreases values. In normal mode, switches between °F and °C display.
Calendar and Clock Setting
Note: The control panel (J) for setting the Calendar and Clock is located behind the lamp body (C). Refer to Diagram 1 for layout.
- Under normal mode, press the [Setting Button] to enter setting mode. Press the [Setting Button] again for the next setting. The sequence for setting is: HOUR – MINUTE – YEAR – DAY – MONTH. The day of the week changes automatically with the date.
- While in setting mode, press the [Mode Button] to quit setting. The lamp will also automatically quit to normal mode if idle for 60 seconds.
- Under normal mode, press the [Up Button] to switch between "12h" and "24h" display format.
Alarm & Snooze Function Setting
- Under normal mode, press the [Mode Button] to enter alarm mode.
- Under alarm mode, press the [Setting Button] to enter alarm setting. Press the [Setting Button] again for the next setting. The sequence for setting is: HOUR – MINUTE – SNOOZE – MUSIC, and then exit.
- Note: There are 8 music tones to select from.
- Press the [Up Button] and [Down Button] to adjust the alarm time sequence.
- Under alarm mode, press the [Up Button] and [Down Button] to turn the alarm and snooze function ON/OFF. The [Music Note Icon] will light up on the display to indicate the alarm is set. The [Snooze Icon] ("Zz") will appear on the display to indicate snooze is activated.
- Snooze duration can be set from 1 to 60 minutes.
- When the alarm time is reached, the alarm will ring for 1 minute, then snooze and ring again. Press the [Setting Button] to turn OFF the alarm or touch the [Up Button] and [Down Button] to activate snooze. Note: Snooze defaults to 60 minutes if power occurs.
Diagram 2: Battery Replacement
Diagram 2 illustrates the battery replacement process.
- This lamp uses a CR2032 battery for its internal clock and alarm functions.
- The battery compartment (K) is located behind the lamp body (C).
- To remove or install the button cell battery, use a [Screwdriver] to remove the battery compartment door (M).
- The button cell battery should be installed with the "+" or flat side facing upward.
Safety Warnings
General Safety
- Turn the lamp off and WAIT UNTIL THE LAMP HEAD (D) IS COOL before handling.
- The LED panel (E) may become hot after several hours of continuous use. DO NOT place your hands directly on the LED light panel.
- Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into the receptacles in the extension cord.
- Do not alter the plug.
- The lamp head, including the LED light source, is not replaceable by the consumer.
- This unit is for INDOOR USE ONLY.
- Note: The important safety instructions in this sheet are not meant to cover all possible conditions and situations. Common sense, caution, and care must be used with any electrical product.
Battery Safety
CAUTION: DO NOT INGEST BATTERY; CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD!
- This lamp contains a coin/button cell battery. If swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just two hours and can lead to death.
- Keep new and used batteries away from children.
- If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
- If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
- Note: Coin/button cell batteries are small, single cell devices having a diameter greater than their height.
Electrical Cautions
- CAUTION! IF THE EXTERNAL FLEXIBLE CABLE OR CORD OF THIS LUMINAIRE IS DAMAGED, IT SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY REPLACED BY THE MANUFACTURER OR ITS SERVICE AGENT OR A SIMILAR QUALIFIED PERSON IN ORDER TO AVOID A HAZARD.
- CAUTION! THE LIGHT SOURCE OF THIS LUMINAIRE IS NOT REPLACEABLE; WHEN THE LIGHT SOURCE REACHES ITS END OF LIFE, THE WHOLE LUMINAIRE SHALL BE REPLACED.
- CAUTION: Any change or modification to the product not expressly recognized by OttLite Technologies voids OttLite's responsibility for proper function of the product.

This lamp contains a 5V, 2.1A USB output port (L) located on the bottom rear of the lamp. The USB port can charge items such as tablets, cellular phones, etc.
