General Safety Instructions
Congratulations on purchasing an Audison product. Your satisfaction is paramount. This manual provides essential instructions for the proper installation and use of the system. Please read all instructions carefully before installing components. Failure to follow these instructions may result in unintentional damage or injury.
- All components must be firmly secured to the vehicle structure. Ensure installations are solid and safe, as loose components can cause serious injury or damage during driving.
- Always wear protective eyewear when using tools to prevent injury from airborne debris.
- Keep products in original packaging until ready for final installation to avoid accidental damage.
- Do not perform any installation inside the engine compartment.
- Before starting installation, turn off the head unit and all other audio system devices to prevent potential damage.
- Ensure the chosen installation location does not interfere with the normal operation of the vehicle's mechanical or electrical devices.
- Do not install loudspeakers where they may be exposed to water, excessive humidity, dust, or dirt.
- Do not install tweeters without their protective grilles.
- Do not install components or run cables near the vehicle's electronic or mechanical devices or electrical boxes.
- Exercise extreme caution when drilling or cutting into the vehicle chassis. Ensure there are no essential cables or structural elements underneath or in the selected area.
- When routing cables, ensure they do not contact sharp edges or moving mechanical parts. Secure and protect cables along their entire length, ensuring insulation is self-extinguishing.
- Use only cables with the proper section (AWG) indicated for the applied power.
- When running cables through chassis holes, protect them with rubber rings (grommets). Provide adequate protection for cables near heat-generating devices.
- Do not run wires outside the vehicle.
- Use only high-quality cables, connectors, and accessories as found in the Connection catalogue.
Safe Sound Practices
Use common sense and practice safe listening. Prolonged exposure to excessively high sound pressure levels can damage your hearing. Safety must be the priority while driving.
