Product Overview
The Audison AFBMW ReAMP 3 is a plug-and-play cable designed to interface with BMW vehicles equipped with the 676 HiFi audio system. It utilizes the RAM module, commonly found in iDrive 7-equipped vehicles, to bring out front mid/high, rear mid/high, underseat low-pass, and center audio signals. These signals are then routed to an input connector for Audison FORZA bit processors. The speaker leads are terminated with round male connectors. The RAM module must remain installed in the vehicle.
The product is ideated, designed, and manufactured in Italy by Audison.

Vehicle Integration Diagram
This diagram illustrates the integration of the AFBMW ReAMP 3 with the vehicle's audio system. It shows the Audison Forza bit Amplifier connected to the OEM Amplifier wiring via connectors A and B. Speaker outputs from the amplifier (Mid-Hi FL, Mid-Hi FR, RL, RR, WF FL, WF FR, Center) are routed through the harness.
Note: The diagram shows the general layout; specific connections depend on the amplifier configuration used.
Audison AF bit Amplifier Configurations
The AFBMW ReAMP 3 supports different configurations for the Audison AF bit Amplifier. The following tables detail the speaker output assignments and the color coding for the speaker input connectors.
Configuration 1: Mid Hi FR/FL + RL/RR + WFL/WFR (Bridged)
This configuration utilizes the amplifier's speaker outputs for front mid-high channels (FR/FL), rear channels (RL/RR), and front woofer/full-range channels (WFL/WFR), with the latter potentially bridged.
The diagram shows the AF C8.14 bit amplifier with its various input/output ports (BATT, ART, USB, ADC, MAESTRO, DSP OUT, OPTICAL IN, DRCC, CTRL, SPEAKER OUT, PRE IN) and the connection points for the AFBMW ReAMP 3 harness (connectors A, B, C, D).

Technical Notes and Compatibility
Input Signal Routing: For optimal performance, use the Hi-Level input configuration #11 (2-way front + rear + center) as detailed in the manual. This ensures the input signal is correctly routed to the bit processor section.
Connector Compatibility: The APBMW ReAMP 1, APBMW ReAMP 2, and AFBMW ReAMP 3 utilize identical connectors. However, their pinouts differ, making them non-interchangeable.
Bridging Woofers: BMW 676 systems typically feature 2Ω woofers. Avoid bridging two amplifier channels into a 2Ω load, as this can lead to protection shutdown or amplifier damage. If bridging is desired, replace the OEM 2Ω woofers with Audison APBMW S8-4 40 woofers and ensure correct bridge wiring.
AP F8.9 bit Compatibility: The AP F IN ADP accessory enables a full Plug & Play connection between the AFBMW ReAMP 3 and the AP F8.9 bit amplifier.
BMW RAM Module Location: An image illustrates the typical location of the BMW RAM module in the left rear corner of the trunk for G20 3-Series vehicles.
Input Pin Assignments: The harness provides specific input pin assignments for the Audison FORZA bit amplifier. These include:
- Front Wf Left (-): white/black wire
- Front Wf Right (-): gray/black wire
- Front Mid-Hi Left (-): green/black wire
- Front Mid-Hi Right (-): purple/black wire
- Rear Left (-): blue/black wire
- Rear Right (-): orange/black wire
- Center (-): light blue/black wire
- NC (-): yellow/black wire
The corresponding positive (+) connections are also detailed, along with the "NOT USED" assignments.
