03/ CHARGING

Plug the power adapter into the power outlet and the USB connector into the USB port of the printer. The power adapter shall be 5V 1A SE1A or higher. Do not remove the battery when charging.

Charging

Fully charged

? The battery icon shows that battery is full and stops flashing.

04/ BASIC USAGE AND SETTINGS

1. Power-on

In power-off state (the screen does not lit), press and hold the Power/Settings button for two seconds. The printer powers on and displays the home screen.

2. Load paper

Press the Deliver /Select button on the home screen, and the printer will deliver a piece of paper.

3. Display paper type

When you select a different paper type, the corresponding icon is displayed synchronously.

• Gap paper: Torn by the cutter with the paper gap aligned with the paper cutting edge.
• Black mark paper: Torn using the k line instead of the cutter.
• Continuous paper: A complete sheet of paper, torn by the cutter in the customized location.
• Cellophane paper: A kind of transparent gap paper, torn by the cutter with the paper gap aligned with the paper cutting edge.

4. Detect out-of-paper error and open the paper bin

The screen displays related information when the printer is out of paper or the paper bin is open. The printer does not respond to print commands in this state.

Status Indicators:

5. Detect low battery

When the battery level is 0, the printer displays the message "Low battery. Please charge it." and shuts down in 10 seconds.

Low battery indicator: ?⚠️ Low battery. Please charge it! ?

6. Establish Bluetooth connection

After Bluetooth pairing and the connection is established, the Bluetooth icon ? is highlighted.

7. Power icon

When a power adapter is plugged in, the power icon ? is displayed.

8. Settings

On the home screen, press the Power/Menu button to enter the Settings screen. Continue to press the Power/Menu button to switch between screens including Print Density, Paper Type, Shutdown Time, Language, and Print Self-test Page. On the Settings screen, press the Deliver /Select button to change the options.

• Print Density: ?️? Can be set to 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
• Paper Type: ? Can be set to Gap Paper, Black Mark Paper, Continuous Paper, or Cellophane Paper.
• Shutdown Time: ⏳⏰ Can be set to 15 min, 30 min, 60 min, or Never.
• Language: ? Can be set to Chinese or English.

9. Print

During the printing process, the screen displays "Printing..." ?️⏳ and automatically returns to the home screen after printing. To stop printing, use your mobile APP or press the Deliver/Select button.

05/ INSTALLATION LABEL ROLL

Step 1: Remove the seal on the print paper. ✂️

Step 2: Press the Open button to open the paper bin. ?️▶️

Step 3: Turn the shaft to On as indicated by the arrow. ?➡️

Step 4: Depending on the width of the paper roll, slide the paper bin plate to the corresponding paper bin scale of the roll. Then, turn the shaft back to the direction of the paper knife and lock the shaft.

Notes: After adjusting the paper bin scale, you need to lock the shaft to avoid print offsets.

Step 5: Place the paper roll in the paper bin with the print side facing the print head. Pull the paper out along the paper exit and close the paper bin.

Note: Pay attention to the direction of the paper roll. If it is reversed, a print failure will occur.

06/ CLEANING OF PLATEN

The platen should be cleaned in any of the following circumstances:

• ?️ Blurry print
• ? Loud noise loading paper
• ? Foreign matters stuck on the print head

Perform the following steps to clean the platen:

1. Power off the printer. ?
2. Open the paper bin and find the platen. If printing is just finished, wait until the print rubber roller is cooled completely.
3. Turn the roller while using the alcohol wipe (dried) to erase the dust and stains on the surface of the print rubber roller.
4. Wipe the dust and stains on the surface of the print head with an alcohol wipe (dried) or a professional print head cleaning pen (purchased separately).
5. Wait 5 to 10 minutes until the alcohol is completely volatile, and close the paper bin.

Notes:

• Ensure that the printer is powered off during daily cleaning.
• Avoid touching the print head surface with hands and metal objects, and do not use tools such as tweezers to scratch the print head, print roller and sensor surface.
• Do not use organic solvents like gasoline and acetone to wipe the print head and roller.
• After the alcohol is completely volatile, power on the printer to continue printing.

07/ TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

1. The printer only loads paper without printing content during printing.

1. Check whether the print paper is reversed. If not, print the self-test page by referring to the instruction to check whether the self-test page is printed correctly.
2. If the self-test page cannot be printed, the printer is faulty. If the self-test page can be printed correctly, check the paper or APP.

2. The prints are blurry

1. Check the print density set for the printer, which is usually 3 by default when the printer shows the best effect.
2. If a line or piece of paper is not printed, check whether the print head is dirty and clean it with alcohol.
3. If the paper quality is poor, please use the print paper of NiiMbot series.

3. The printer keeps delivering paper while loading paper and printing and finally displays a prompt "Loading paper error. Please open and check the paper bin."

If the gap marking is not detected after 200 mm paper is loaded, the message "Loading paper error" will be displayed and there are three possibilities.

1. Check the paper type set for the printer, which supports gap paper, black mark paper, continuous paper, and cellophane paper. You can manually select the required paper type or automatically change it by printing one sheet after using the Scan to Model function of the APP.
2. If the printer cannot be stopped and makes clicking noise at the same time, this roll has been used up. Replace it with a new one.
3. If neither of the preceding problems occurs, open the paper bin and close it to restart printing. If the problem persists, the printer is faulty.

4. An out-of-paper error is suddenly prompted during printing.

1. Check whether the current print paper has been used up.
2. If the paper is not used up, check whether the paper bin plate is locked as required. If the paper bin plate is unlocked, the paper may shift during the printing process, and the sensor may not detect the paper.

5. The printer suddenly stops during printing.

In order to ensure the reliability of the printer, multiple protections are designed in case of the out-of-paper error, open paper bin, data error, overtemperature, and low battery. Please analyze the reasons according to the different prompts on the APP.

WARNINGS ⚠️

1. Turn off the power immediately when the printer malfunctions. ?
2. There are special protection circuits and devices inside the battery. Please do not disassemble the battery without authorization; otherwise it will cause short circuits or electrolyte leakage. If the electrolyte accidentally enters your eyes, rinse them immediately with clean water and go to the hospital. ?❌?️
3. Charge the battery in a cool and airy room. Do not expose the battery and power adapter to high-temperature and high-humidity environments, or water to avoid short circuits that can cause the battery to heat up, smoke, deform, damage, or even explode. If the power adapter comes into contact with water or other liquid, cut off the power immediately. When you notice smoke or an odor from your printer or power adapter, unplug the power adapter, remove the battery immediately, and take care to avoid burns. ??️❄️
4. Do not squeeze, mechanically vibrate, shake the battery or power adapter, remove or modify the power adapter. Moreover, do not use the power adapter in the event of damage to the power cable, as this may result in electric shock, fire and damage to the power adapter. ??
5. Do not use the printer near flammable products such as gas stations and fuel warehouses. ?❌

NOTES ?

1. Keep this product and accessories in a safe place out of reach of children to prevent danger. ?❌
2. Do not disassemble the printer by yourself; do not open the paper bin during printing; after printing, the print head is still hot, do not touch it to avoid burns. ?✋❌
3. Be sure to charge the printer and power adapter in a well-ventilated place.
4. Wipe the printer gently with a soft and clean cloth. Do not use dissolved matters, corrosive chemicals, or detergents such as benzene or thinners.
5. Before replacing the battery, make sure that the printer is turned off. If you are using a power adapter, and when replacing the battery, make sure that the power supply has been cut off. Overtemperature and undertemperature can result in poor print quality.
6. If you store the printer for a long time, be sure to remove the battery from the printer and store it separately; otherwise, it may cause the battery to fail or even spill, and damage the printer. ?➡️?
7. If the battery fails to meet the performance requirements, replace it. Once the battery is found to be discolored or deformed, immediately stop using it.
8. Use the original print paper of NiiMbot; otherwise, it may result in poor print quality or even damage to the platen. ?✔️
9. After the thermal print paper is used for printing, the time for saving the writing is related to the quality of the thermal print paper. If you want to print the documents that need to be stored for a long time, use the long-lasting thermal print paper.

WARRANTY TERMS ?️

• From the date of purchase ?, the print head of this product shall be guaranteed for 3 months or the print distance shall not exceed 30 km (whichever comes first), and the rest parts shall be guaranteed for 12 months.
• You need to send the product to the sales service center for repair.
• If products beyond the warranty period require repair services, contact the after-sales service center for paid repair and accessories.
• Warranty services are not available during the warranty period if:
  • The damage is caused by accidents, overuse, misuse, or use of other companies' consumables.
  • The warranty period has expired.
  • You disassemble, repair or modify the printer without authorization.
  • Missing prints are caused by the scratches on the print head.
  • The purchase record is inconsistent with the serial number of the machine under warranty.
  • The damage is caused by man-made or other force majeure.

The portable printer communicates with the mobile phone through the wireless way. At present, the printer uses the Bluetooth communication way to interact with the mobile phone app. After the mobile phone app is connected to the Bluetooth of the printer, the app will send the printing data according to certain arrangement rules. After the Bluetooth module of the printer receives the data sent, it will send the data to the printer's processor. The processor will analyze the data, get the real printing content, and then the processor will control the print head, motor, etc. to print the information sent by the app.
