Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your IKEA VIRRMO LED ceiling lamp.

Step 1: Attach Base Plate

Secure the circular base plate to the ceiling using appropriate screws and plugs suitable for the mounting material. The diagrams show the plate being aligned and fixed.

Step 2: Prepare and Connect Wires

Prepare the electrical wires by stripping the insulation to expose the conductor. Insert the wires into the terminal block connectors. The diagram shows wire preparation and insertion into a connector, with a measurement of "xx mm (xx")" for the exposed wire length.

Step 3: Connect Live and Neutral Wires

Connect the live (L) wire to the terminal marked 'L' and the neutral (N) wire to the terminal marked 'N' in the connector block.

Step 4: Secure Cable

Insert the cable into the connector and secure it by engaging the locking mechanism. Ensure approximately "20 mm (13/16")" of the cable sheath is inside the connector.

Step 5: Connect Additional Wires

Connect two (2x) additional wires to the terminal block, ensuring they are properly inserted and secured.

Step 6: Connect Remaining Wires

Connect any remaining wires to the terminal block, following the same procedure as previous steps.

Step 7: Attach Lamp Cover

Align the main lamp cover or body with the base plate and secure it by clipping it into place. Close-up diagrams illustrate the clipping mechanism.

Step 8: Install LED Module

Place the circular LED module into the lamp body. Secure the module by engaging the clips (3x). The diagram indicates a "Click!" sound when properly secured.

Step 9: Connect LED Module Power

Connect the power wires from the LED module to the terminal block, ensuring the live (L) and neutral (N) connections are made correctly. One connection (1x) is shown.

Step 10: Final Lamp Cover Attachment

Attach the main lamp cover or body to the base plate, ensuring it is securely fastened. The diagrams show the cover being aligned and clipped into place.
