Important Safety Information
IMPORTANT!
- Always shut off power to the circuit before starting installation work.
- In some countries, electrical installation work may only be carried out by an authorized electrical contractor. Contact your local electricity authority for advice.
- Different materials require different types of fittings. Always choose screws and plugs that are specially suited to the material.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Mount the Bracket
Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling or wall using appropriate screws and wall plugs. Ensure the screws are suitable for the material of the mounting surface. (Diagram: Shows a person using a screwdriver to attach a bracket to a surface.)
Step 2: Prepare the Fixture and Cable
Feed the power cable through the designated opening in the fixture body. (Diagram: Shows a cable being inserted into the top of the fixture.)
Step 3: Connect Wiring to Terminal Block
Open the terminal block cover. Insert the power cable wires (live, neutral, and earth if applicable) into the correct terminals within the terminal block. Ensure secure connections. (Diagram: Shows wires being connected to a terminal block inside the fixture, with close-ups of the terminal connections labeled L (Line) and N (Neutral).)
Step 4: Secure the Fixture to the Bracket
Place the fixture onto the mounted bracket. Secure the fixture to the bracket using the provided screws. (Diagram: Shows the main body of the fixture being attached to the bracket with screws.)
Step 5: Final Connections and Securing
Ensure all wire connections are firm. Close the terminal block cover securely. The fixture should click into place, indicating it is properly secured. (Diagram: Shows a component being pushed into place until it clicks.)
Step 6: Bulb Replacement
When changing the bulb, use only GU10 LED bulbs. Do not use GU10 Halogen bulbs. (Diagrams: Illustrate the process of removing an old bulb and inserting a new GU10 LED bulb.)
Step 7: Adjusting the Fixture
The fixture can be adjusted to direct light. Rotate the adjustable parts to change the angle. (Diagrams: Show arrows indicating rotation for adjusting the fixture's direction.)
