Soundbar Controls

The soundbar features a control panel for basic operations:

• ? Power Button: Press to power on; hold for 3 seconds to power off.
• ?️ Input Mode: Press to cycle through input channels: ARC, OPTICAL, BT, AUX, USB.
• ? BT: Press to switch to Bluetooth channel and enter pairing mode. Hold for 3 seconds to disconnect the current device and manually connect to a new device (BT ID: Nova S40).
• ➖ Volume Down: Decreases volume.
• ➕ Volume Up: Increases volume.

Remote Control

The included remote control offers full access to soundbar functions:

• ? Power Button: Press to power on; hold for 3 seconds to power off.
• ARC ARC Button: Switches to ARC channel.
• BT BT Button: Switches to Bluetooth channel and enters pairing mode. Hold for 3 seconds to disconnect the current device and manually connect to a new device (BT ID: Nova S40).
• OPT OPT Button: Switches to OPTICAL channel.
• AUX AUX Button: Switches to AUX channel.
• LED LED Button: Turns the LED on or off.
• USB USB Button: Switches to USB channel.
• + Volume Up: Increases volume.
• - Volume Down: Decreases volume.
• ⏪ Previous: In BT and USB mode, skips to the previous track.
• ⏩ Next: In BT and USB mode, skips to the next track.
• ▶️ Play/Pause: For BT and USB modes only. In USB mode, hold for 3 seconds to switch between single loop and list loop playback.
• MOVIE MOVIE Button: Switches to MOVIE mode (display shows "Eq 1").
• GAME GAME Button: Switches to GAME mode (display shows "Eq 2").
• MUSIC MUSIC Button: Switches to MUSIC mode (display shows "Eq 3").
• BASSM BASSMX Button: Adjusts bass level (display shows "b5-1", "b5 0", "b5 1").
• ? Mute/Unmute: Mutes or restores volume.

Connections

Connect to Subwoofer

Connect the soundbar to the subwoofer using the appropriate ports. Ensure all connections are secure.

Refer to the diagrams in the original PDF for port locations (HDMI ARC, AUX, USB, OPTICAL, SUB OUT, DC IN).

Connect to TV via HDMI ARC

This is the recommended connection for optimal audio quality and control.

1. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the ARC/eARC port on your TV.
2. Connect the other end to the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar.
3. Press the "ARC" button on the remote control to select the "HDMI ARC" input.

If there is no sound, ensure your TV's audio output is set to PCM (TV Settings > Home > Settings > Sound > Digital Audio Output > PCM). Enable the "CEC" function on your TV for simultaneous control of the soundbar and TV with your TV remote.

Connect to TV via Optical / AUX

Optical Connection:

• Connect the Optical cable from your TV's OPTICAL OUT port to the soundbar's OPTICAL port. Ensure the plug is inserted correctly.
• If audio plays from TV speakers, mute or lower the TV volume.

AUX Connection:

• Connect the 3.5mm to 3.5mm Audio Cable from your TV's AUDIO OUT port to the soundbar's AUX IN port.
• Note: The TV's AUDIO IN port is not supported.

Remember to disconnect the AUX cable when switching to other modes.

If there is no sound in Optical Mode, set TV audio output to PCM.

Connect to Bluetooth®

Pair your device wirelessly with the soundbar.

1. Press the ? (BT) button on the soundbar or remote to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
2. On your mobile device, open Bluetooth settings, find and select "Nova S40" to connect.

If already connected, press and hold the ? (BT) button for 3 seconds to disconnect and pair a new device.

Placement Options

The soundbar can be placed under the TV. For optimal listening, position the soundbar at or near ear level.

Wall Mount Installation

Follow these steps to mount the soundbar on a wall:

1. Step 1: Identify mounting points on the wall.
2. Step 2: Attach the wall bracket to the wall using appropriate hardware.
3. Step 3: Mount the soundbar onto the bracket.
4. Step 4: Connect cables. Use the HDMI adaptor for easy plugging and unplugging of the HDMI cable.

Ensure the soundbar is securely mounted.

• The adapter should be installed near the device and should be easily accessible.
• Do not use this product in environments of extreme heat or cold. Never expose this device to strong sunshine or wet environments.
