2 Soundbar Controls
Control Panel
The soundbar features a control panel with the following functions:
- 1. Power Button ⏻: Press to power on / Hold for 3 seconds to power off.
- 2. Input Mode ?️: Press to switch channels: eARC-HD IN (HDMI IN)-OPT (OPTICAL)-BT-AUX-USB.
- 3. BT ?: Press to switch to Bluetooth channel and enter pairing mode. Hold for 3 seconds to disconnect the current device and connect to a new device manually on your mobile phone / PC / TV (BT ID: Nova S80).
- 4. Volume Down ➖: Adjust volume down.
- 5. Volume Up ➕: Adjust volume up.
Remote Control
The remote control provides access to all soundbar functions:
- 1. Power Button ⏻: Press to power on / Hold for 3 seconds to power off.
- 2. eARC: Press to switch to HDMI eARC channel.
- 3. HD IN: Press to switch to HDMI IN channel.
- 4. OPT: Press to switch to OPTICAL channel.
- 5. BT ?: Press to switch to Bluetooth channel and enter pairing mode. Hold for 3 seconds to disconnect current device and connect to a new device manually on your mobile phone / PC / TV (BT ID: Nova S80).
- 6. EQ: Press to switch among Movie, Dialogue, Music mode (display shows "MOVI", "DLOG", "MUSC").
- 7. INPUT: Press to switch channels: eARC-HD IN (HDMI IN)-OPT (OPTICAL)-BT-AUX-USB.
- 8. Volume Up ➕: Adjust volume up.
- 9. Volume Down ➖: Adjust volume down.
- 10. Previous ⏪: For BT and USB mode only: Skip to previous track.
- 11. Next ⏩: For BT and USB mode only: Skip to next track.
- 12. Play / Pause ▶️ / ⏸️: For BT and USB mode only. USB mode: Hold for 3 seconds to switch between single loop playback and list loop playback.
- 13. Dolby ATMOS ?: Press to adjust upward-firing sound level (display shows "AT-I", "AT 0", "AT I").
- 14. SURROUND: Press to adjust surround sound level (display shows "SR 2", "SR-1", "SR 0", "SR 1").
- 15. BASSMX™: Press to adjust bass level (display shows "B5-2", "BS-1", "BS 0", "BS 1", "B5 2").
- 16. Mute ?: Mute / Recover the volume.
3 Soundbar Installation
Assembly Steps
Step 1: Set the two parts of the Soundbar on the same level and align the connection joints. Connect the two parts by pushing parallelly to combine as one piece.
Step 2: Plug in the 6-pin Cable.
4 Connect to TV via HDMI OUT ARC / ARC
Step 1: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the eARC / ARC port on the back of your TV.
Step 2: Then connect the other end into the HDMI OUT (ARC) port of the soundbar.
Step 3: Press the "eARC" button on the remote control to select "HDMI OUT (eARC)" input.
Note: Ensure your TV supports HDMI eARC for Dolby Atmos audio transmission. Configure TV audio output to "Pass Through" for Dolby Atmos or "PCM" for DTS.
CEC Function: When eARC / ARC is connected, your TV remote can control the soundbar's power and volume.
5 Connect to Other Device via HDMI IN
Step 1: Connect the HDMI Cable from the Soundbar's HDMI OUT (ARC) port to the TV's eARC / ARC port.
Step 2: Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port of your other device (e.g., DVD player, game console) to the Soundbar's HDMI IN port.
Step 3: Press the [INPUT] button on the Soundbar or Remote Control to switch to the HDMI IN channel.
6 Connect to TV via OPTICAL / AUX
Option 1: OPTICAL
Connect the OPTICAL OUT port on your TV to the OPTICAL port on the Soundbar. Ensure the optical plug is inserted correctly.
Note: If audio is coming from internal TV speakers, mute or minimize TV volume. If no sound, set TV audio output to PCM.
Option 2: AUX
Connect the 3.5mm to RCA audio cable from your TV's RCA AUDIO OUT port to the Soundbar's AUX port. Match cable colors to TV ports.
Note: Unplug the AUX cable when switching to other modes.
7 Connect to Bluetooth
Step 1: Press the [BT] button on the soundbar or remote control to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
Step 2: Open your mobile device's Bluetooth settings, find and select "Nova S80" to connect.
Note: To connect a new device, press and hold the [BT] button for 3 seconds to disconnect the current device and enter pairing mode.
8 Connect to Subwoofer and Surround Speakers
Step 1: Use the 6m RCA-RCA cables to connect the subwoofer and surround speakers. Match corresponding color interfaces.
Step 2: Use the power cable to connect your subwoofer and power port.
9 Pairing Subwoofer
The subwoofer is typically paired with the soundbar by ULTIMEA. If there is no sound from the subwoofer, re-pair them:
Step 1: Press and hold the "BASS" button on the remote control for 5 seconds (display shows "SUB" flashing).
Step 2: Press and hold the PAIR button on the subwoofer for 5 seconds (white LED flashes rapidly).
The white LED will remain solid when the subwoofer is paired successfully.
10 Placement Options
For optimal listening experience, choose one of the following placement options based on your environment:
Full 360° Surround (Better Surround)

Front Surround
Diagram description: Shows soundbar in front of a TV, with a subwoofer to the side, and two surround speakers placed to the front sides of the listening position.
Note: The soundbar and surround speakers should be placed at or near ear level.
11 Wall Mount Installation
Follow the diagrams for wall mounting the soundbar and surround speakers. Ensure correct measurements and secure mounting.
Note: Please use the HDMI Adaptor for easy plugging and unplugging of the HDMI Cable.
