EU Regulations
Radio Equipment Directive Compliance Statement
Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd. hereby declares that this digital mobile phone with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi network function, model 23028RN4DG, complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 2014/53/EU. The full text of the EU declaration of conformity is available at the following internet address: www.mi.com/en/certification
Radio Frequency Exposure Information (Specific Absorption Rate, SAR)
This device complies with the general population/uncontrolled exposure specific absorption rate (SAR) limits (localized specific absorption rate of 10 grams for head and trunk, limit: 2.0 W/kg) indicated in the Council Recommendations 1999/519/EC, ICNIRP Guidelines, and the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU. During SAR testing, this device was set to transmit at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands and placed in positions that simulate radio frequency exposure during head use without a gap and near the body with a 5 mm gap.
Body-worn operating compliance is based on a separation distance of 5 mm between the device and the human body. This device should be worn at least 5 mm away from the body to ensure that the radio frequency exposure level is at or below the reported level. When using the device near the body, use a belt clip or holster that does not contain metal components to ensure a separation distance of at least 5 mm between the device and the body. Compliance with radio frequency exposure has not been tested or certified with any body-worn accessory containing metal, and the use of such body-worn accessories should be avoided. Any body-worn accessory used with this device must maintain a separation distance of at least 5 mm from the body.
Certifications Information (Highest Specific Absorption Rate)
SAR limit for 10 g: 2.0 W/kg, SAR value: Head: 0.897 W/kg; Body: 0.997 W/kg (5 mm separation).
