Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd. hereby declares that this GSM / GPRS / EDGE / UMTS / LTE digital mobile phone with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 2014/53/EU. The full text of the EU declaration of conformity is available at the following internet address: www.mi.com/en/certification
Radio Frequency Exposure Information (SAR)
This device complies with the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits for the general population/uncontrolled exposure (localized SAR of 10g for head and trunk, limit: 2.0 W/kg) as specified in Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC, ICNIRP guidelines and RED Directive (Directive 2014/53/EU).
During SAR testing, this device was set to transmit at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands and placed in positions that simulate RF exposure during use, with the head with no separation and the body with a 5 mm separation.
SAR compliance for body-worn operation is based on a separation distance of 5 mm between the unit and the human body. This device should be worn at least 5 mm away from the body to ensure that the RF exposure level is in line with the reported level or below it. When attaching the device to a body-worn accessory, use a belt clip or holster that does not contain metal components and allows for a minimum separation of 5 mm between the device and the body. RF exposure compliance has not been tested or certified with any metal-containing body-worn accessory and the use of such body-worn accessories should be avoided.
Certification Information (Highest SAR)
SAR limit for 10g: 2.0 W/Kg, SAR value: Head: 0.897 W/Kg, Body: 0.997 W/Kg (distance: 5mm).
