2. Jabra Evolve2 75 Overview
The headset features distinct controls and indicators on the left and right earcups.
Left Earcup Features:
- Busylight: Visual indicator for call status.
- HearThrough/ANC Off (hold): Button to cycle through Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and HearThrough modes, or turn them off.
- Charging pins for charging stand (optional): Connects to the desk stand for charging.
- USB-C charge port: For direct charging via USB-C cable.
- Status LED: Indicates power and battery status.
- Power on or off/Pairing: Button to turn the headset on/off or initiate Bluetooth pairing.
- Play/pause music: Button to control music playback.
- Volume down/Restart or prev. track: Button to decrease volume or control track playback.
Right Earcup Features:
- Busylight/Microsoft Teams status: Indicator for busy status and Microsoft Teams notifications.
- Volume up/Next track: Button to increase volume or control track playback.
- Answer or end call/Open Microsoft Teams notification*: Button to manage calls and Teams notifications.
- Mute or unmute microphone/Activate Voice Assistant: Button to control microphone mute status or activate voice assistants.

2.1 Included Accessories
The headset comes with several accessories depending on the version:

USB-C Version:
- Jabra Link USB-C Bluetooth adapter
- USB-C to USB-C cable
Additionally, a carry pouch is included.

3. How to Wear
3.1 Adjusting the headset
Adjust the headband so that the headset fits your head comfortably.

3.2 Positioning the microphone boom arm
Pull the microphone boom arm down or up in one smooth motion. When using the microphone, the tip of the boom arm should be positioned close to your mouth.

SECURITY NOTE: Microphones can potentially be used to record private conversations.
4. How to Charge
The headset can be charged using the optional desk stand or via a USB charging cable plugged directly into the headset. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, providing up to 36 hours of battery life. A 15-minute charge can provide up to 6 hours of battery life.

4.1 Charge using the desk stand (optional accessory)
Connect the desk stand to a powered USB port on your computer using the supplied USB charging cable, and then dock the headset on the desk stand. The desk stand is for charging only.

The Busylight and Status LED on the headset will flash briefly to indicate correct docking. The battery LED will then flash green, yellow, or red to show the charging status, turning solid green when fully charged.
4.2 Charge using USB charging cable
Plug the USB charging cable into the USB-C charging port on the left earcup and any available USB port on your computer. It is recommended to use the supplied Jabra charging cable, but a compatible charger can also be used.

4.3 Power saving modes
The headset has two power saving modes: Nap mode and Sleep mode.
NAP MODE
When the headset is powered on but not worn, it automatically enters nap mode to conserve battery. To exit nap mode, simply wear the headset.
SLEEP MODE
If the headset remains in nap mode for 8 hours, it automatically enters sleep mode for further battery conservation. To exit sleep mode, press any button.
The duration before entering sleep mode can be adjusted via the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct. After 24 hours in sleep mode, the headset powers down completely. To power it back on, slide the On/Off switch to Off and then On.
5. What the LEDs Mean
LED indicators provide information about the headset's status.
BUSHLIGHT/MICROSOFT* LED:
- Busylight: Indicates busy status.
- Incoming call: Slow flash.
- Headset trying to connect to Microsoft Teams: Slow flash (times out after 10 seconds).
- Microsoft Teams notification*: Fast flash.
STATUS LED:
- Power on/Battery full: Solid green.
- Battery medium: Yellow.
- Battery low: Red.
- Battery critically low: Flashing red.
- Pairing mode: Blue flashing.
- Resetting/Firmware updating: Pink flashing.
- Headset docked in optional charging stand: Brief flash.
JABRA LINK BLUETOOTH ADAPTER LED:
- Microphone muted: Red.
- Plugged into computer and signed into Microsoft Teams*: Solid blue.
- Headset trying to connect to Microsoft Teams: Slow flash (times out after 10 seconds).
- Microsoft Teams notification*: Fast flash.
- Bluetooth connection: Blue.
- Streaming music/media: Blue.
- Incoming call/Active call: Blue.
*Requires Microsoft Teams headset variant.
6. How to Connect
6.1 Connect to Computer
Plug the supplied Jabra Link Bluetooth adapter into a USB port on your computer. The Jabra Evolve2 75 and adapter are pre-paired. Bluetooth range is up to 30 meters (100 feet).

To hear audio, select the Jabra Link Bluetooth adapter as the playback device in your operating system's audio settings. For manual pairing, download and use Jabra Direct.
Before first use, it is recommended to update the headset firmware using Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+.
SECURITY NOTE: There is no encryption for data exchange between the headset and USB devices or ports.
6.2 Pair with a Smartphone
- Slide the On/Off switch to the Bluetooth position and hold it until the LED flashes blue and you hear an announcement.

- Go to your smartphone's Bluetooth menu and select 'Jabra Evolve2 75' from the list of available devices.
When pairing with an Android device with Google Fast Pair, the headset will prompt you on your device when in pairing mode. Before first use, update the headset firmware via Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+.
SECURITY NOTE: The headset uses a secure Bluetooth connection (128-bit encryption). If your Bluetooth device does not support secure connections, pairing may fail.
7. How to Use
7.1 Power On/Off
Slide the On/Off switch to the 'On' or 'Off' position to power the headset on or off.

7.2 Calls & Music
- Play/pause music: Press the Play/Pause button.
- Answer call: Press the Answer/End call button. Alternatively, move the microphone boom arm down to answer an incoming call (see section 7.10).
- End call: Press the Answer/End call button.
- Reject call: Double-press the Answer/End call button.
- Adjust volume: Press the Volume up or Volume down button when listening to music or on a call.
- Next track: Press and hold (1 sec) the Volume up button.
- Restart track: Press and hold (1 sec) the Volume down button.
- Play previous track: Press and hold twice the Volume down button.
- Turn Busylight on/off: Press the Volume up and Volume down buttons simultaneously. You will hear 'Busy' or 'Available' in the headset.
- Hear battery and connection status: Press the Volume up or Volume down button when not listening to music or on a call.
*Requires Microsoft Teams headset variant.
7.3 On-head Detection
The headset has built-in sensors that detect when it is being worn, triggering different actions:
- Auto-pause Music: Taking the headset off pauses music; wearing it again resumes music.
- Mute Call: Taking the headset off mutes an active call; wearing it again unmutes the call.
- Busylights: Only light up red when the headset is being worn.
- Microsoft Teams Status*: The LED indicates Microsoft notifications only when the headset is not being worn.
Head detection and actions can be configured via the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct.
SECURITY NOTE: On-head sensors can potentially be used to detect the presence of a user.

7.4 Switching Microphones
To use earcup microphones instead of the boom arm microphone: raise the boom arm and press the Voice button.

To use the boom arm microphone: lower the boom arm all the way down. Microphone performance is best with the boom arm microphone. This functionality requires enabling via the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct.
7.5 Voice Assistant
The Jabra Evolve2 75 enables interaction with Siri, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa on your smartphone using the Voice button.

7.6 Busylights
Busylights automatically light up red when on a call to indicate busy status. To manually switch them on/off, press the Volume up and Volume down buttons simultaneously. You will hear 'Busy' or 'Available' in the headset.

Busylight settings can be configured via the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct.
7.7 Advanced Active Noise Cancellation™ (ANC)
ANC counters noise by detecting and analyzing incoming sound, generating an anti-noise signal. This results in a reduced level of surrounding noise during music and calls.
To cycle between ANC and HearThrough, or turn off Sound modes, press the Sound modes button. To turn off Sound modes, press and hold the Sound modes button for 1 second.
Advanced ANC can be adjusted using the Jabra Sound+ app for a personalized hearing profile.
7.8 HearThrough™
HearThrough uses built-in microphones to help you pay attention to your surroundings and engage in conversations without removing the headset. Settings can be configured via the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct.
To cycle between ANC and HearThrough, or turn off Sound modes, press the Sound modes button. To turn off Sound modes, press and hold the Sound modes button for 1 second.
7.9 Mute/Unmute using the Microphone Boom Arm
The headset microphone can be muted by moving the microphone boom arm up, or unmuted by moving it down.

This feature is on by default and can be disabled via Jabra Sound+ or Jabra Direct.

7.10 Answer Call using the Microphone Boom Arm
An incoming call can be answered by moving the microphone boom arm down.

This feature is on by default and can be disabled via Jabra Sound+ or Jabra Direct.

7.11 Multiuse
The headset can pair with up to eight Bluetooth devices and connect to two devices simultaneously (e.g., Jabra Link adapter and a smartphone, or two smartphones). It can accept multiple incoming calls from either connected device. To pair two devices, follow the pairing process separately for each.
Note: Voice assistant activates on the last connected Bluetooth device.
7.12 Multiple Call Handling
The headset can accept and handle multiple calls concurrently.
- End current call and answer incoming call: Press the Answer/End call button.
- Put current call on hold and answer incoming call: Hold (2 secs) the Answer/End call button*.
- Switch between held call and active call: Hold (2 secs) the Answer/End call button*.
- Reject incoming call, when on a call: Double-press the Answer/End call button.
*Non-Microsoft Teams headset variant only.
7.13 Voice Guidance
Voice guidance provides announcements for setup and status updates (e.g., connection, battery status). It is enabled by default.
To turn voice guidance on/off: Press and hold the Voice button and the Volume up button for 5 seconds until an announcement is heard.

Voice guidance can also be managed via the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct. For supported languages, refer to the apps.
7.14 How to Reset
Resetting the headset clears paired devices and all settings.
To reset: Ensure the headset is powered on and not on a call. Press and hold the Answer/End call button and the Volume up button simultaneously for 3 seconds until the LED lights up pink and an announcement is heard.

After resetting, you will need to re-pair the headset with the Jabra Link Bluetooth adapter or your smartphone (see section 6.2).
8. Software and Firmware
8.1 Jabra Sound+
The Jabra Sound+ app allows personalization of music and calls, offers MySound for enhanced audio, and provides adjustable ANC.

Download from the App Store or Google Play.
8.2 Jabra Direct
Jabra Direct is computer software designed to support, manage, and enable optimal functionality for Jabra devices.
Download the latest free version from jabra.com/direct.
8.3 Update Firmware
It is recommended to update the headset to the latest firmware using Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+ before first use. Firmware updates improve performance and add new features.
Headset firmware can be updated via Jabra Direct on your computer or the Jabra Sound+ app on your smartphone. Both applications will notify you when an update is available.
Jabra Link Bluetooth adapter firmware can be updated using Jabra Direct on your computer.

9.2 How to Care for Your Headset
- Always store the headset in the supplied case.
- To prevent battery depletion, avoid storing the headset in extreme hot or cold environments (e.g., a closed car in summer or in winter conditions).
- If exposed to rain, allow the headset sufficient time to dry (up to one hour) before powering on.
- It is recommended to keep the headset between -10°C and 45°C (14°F and 113°F).
- Do not store the headset for extended periods (max. three months) without recharging it.
