2. Overview of Jabra Evolve2 75
The headset is divided into left and right sides, with various controls and indicators:
Left Side:
- Busylight Status: Indicates your availability.
- HearThrough/ANC: Press and hold to toggle between HearThrough and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) modes.
- Charging Pin: For connection to the optional charging desk stand.
- USB-C Charging Port: For charging the headset.
- Status LED: Indicates power and battery status.
- Power/Pairing Button: For turning the headset on/off and initiating Bluetooth pairing.
- Play/Pause Music: Press to play or pause music.
Right Side:
- Volume Up/Next Track: Press to increase volume or skip to the next track.
- Busylight/Microsoft Teams Status: Indicates busy status and Microsoft Teams notifications.
- Answer/End Call/Open Microsoft Teams Notification: Press to answer or end calls, or open Teams notifications.
- Volume Down/Restart Track/Previous Track: Press to decrease volume, restart the current track, or skip to the previous track.
- Mute/Activate Voice Assistant: Press to mute/unmute the microphone or activate your voice assistant.

3. How to Wear
3.1 Adjusting the Headband
Adjust the headband so the earcups are positioned comfortably on your head.
3.2 Boom Microphone Positioning
Pull the boom microphone down or up with a single, smooth motion. When using the microphone, the tip of the boom arm should be positioned close to your mouth.
SAFETY NOTE: The microphones could be exploited to record private conversations.
4. Charging
The headset can be charged via the optional desk stand or directly using the USB cable.
A full charge takes approximately two hours and forty minutes. The headset battery life lasts up to 36 hours. If the headset is low on battery, a fifteen-minute charge can provide six hours of battery life.
4.1 Charging via Desk Stand (Optional Accessory)
Connect the desk stand to a powered USB port on your computer using the included USB charging cable, then attach the headset to the desk stand. The desk stand is for charging only.

The headset's Status LED and Busylight will flash white briefly to indicate that the headset has been correctly attached to the desk stand. The battery LED will flash red, yellow, or green to indicate the current battery charging status. When the LED turns solid green, the headset is fully charged.
4.2 Charging with the USB Charging Cable
Connect the USB charging cable to the USB-C port on the left earcup and to a free USB port on your computer. It is recommended to charge the headset with the included Jabra charging cable, but you can also use a compatible charger.
4.3 Battery Saving Modes
The headset has two levels of power-saving modes: Nap and Sleep.
Nap Mode:
When the headset is on but not worn, it automatically enters "Nap" standby mode after fifteen minutes to reduce battery consumption. To exit Nap mode, simply wear the headset.
Sleep Mode:
When the headset has been in Nap mode for 8 hours, it automatically enters "Sleep" standby mode to conserve battery. To exit standby mode, press any button.
You can adjust the time for Sleep mode activation using the Jabra Sound+ app on your smartphone or Jabra Direct on your computer.
After twenty-four hours of standby mode, the earcup will completely turn off. To turn the headset back on, slide the On/Off switch to the Off position and then back to On.

6. Connection
6.1 Connecting to a Computer
Connect the included Jabra Link Bluetooth adapter to a USB port on your computer. The Jabra Evolve2 75 headset and the Jabra Link Bluetooth adapter are pre-paired and ready for use from the first time. The Bluetooth range is up to 30 meters.
To listen to audio through the headset, you may need to set the Jabra Link Bluetooth adapter as the playback device in your operating system's audio settings.
To manually pair the Jabra Evolve2 75 with the Jabra Link Bluetooth adapter, download and use Jabra Direct.
Before initial use, it is recommended to update the headset's firmware to the latest version via Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+.
SECURITY NOTE: There is no encryption for data exchange between the headset and USB devices or ports.
6.2 Pairing with a Smartphone
- Slide the On/Off switch to the Bluetooth position and press and hold it until the LED flashes blue and you hear an announcement in the headset.
- Access the Bluetooth menu on your smartphone and select "Jabra Evolve2 75" from the list of available devices.
When pairing with an Android device with Google Fast Pair enabled, simply put the headset in pairing mode, and you will be prompted on your Android device to pair.
Before initial use, it is recommended to update the headset's firmware to the latest version via Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+.
SECURITY NOTE: The headset uses a secure Bluetooth connection with a 128-bit encryption key. If your Bluetooth device does not support secure connections, it will not be able to pair with or connect to the headset.
7. Usage
7.1 Powering On/Off
Slide the On/Off switch to the On or Off position to turn the headset on or off.

7.3 Head Detection
The headset features integrated sensors that detect when it is worn, performing different actions depending on whether it is worn or not.
- Automatic Music Pause: When listening to music, removing the headset automatically pauses it. When you put the headset back on, music playback resumes.
- Mute Call Audio: During a call, removing the headset automatically mutes the call audio. Once you put the headset back on, the call audio becomes active again automatically.
- Busylight: The Busylight busy indicator turns red only when the headset is worn.
- Microsoft Teams Status: The Microsoft Teams status LED indicates Microsoft notifications only when the headset is not worn.
You can configure head detection and individual actions using the Jabra Sound+ app on your smartphone or Jabra Direct on your computer.

7.4 Microphone Switching
To use the earcup microphones instead of the boom microphone, lift the boom microphone and then press the Voice button. [Diagram showing lifting boom mic and pressing Voice button]
To use the boom microphone instead of the earcup microphones, lower the boom microphone completely. Performance will be better when using the boom microphone.
You need to activate this setting in the Jabra Sound+ app or Jabra Direct on your computer.
7.5 Voice Assistant
The Jabra Evolve2 75 allows you to speak with Siri, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa on your smartphone using the Voice button.

7.6 Busy Lights
The busy lights on the headset automatically turn red when you are on a call, signaling to colleagues that you are busy. To manually activate/deactivate the Busylight indicator, press the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons simultaneously.

7.7 Advanced Active Noise Cancellation™ (ANC), State-of-the-Art Active Noise Cancellation
The Jabra Advanced Active Noise Cancellation function eliminates noise by detecting and analyzing incoming noise patterns and generating an anti-noise signal to cancel it. As a result, ambient noise is significantly reduced during music playback and calls.

7.8 HearThrough™
HearThrough uses the integrated microphones to allow you to pay attention to your surroundings and participate in a conversation without removing the headset.
You can configure HearThrough settings using the Jabra Sound+ app on your smartphone or Jabra Direct on your computer.

Move the boom microphone downwards to answer an incoming call.

7.11 Multiuse
The headset can pair with up to eight Bluetooth devices and connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously (e.g., the Jabra Link Bluetooth adapter and a smartphone, or two Bluetooth devices). The headset can accept and manage multiple incoming calls from both devices.
To pair with two Bluetooth devices, follow the normal procedure for each Bluetooth device (refer to section 6.2).
Note: The voice assistant will be activated on the last connected Bluetooth device.
7.12 Managing Multiple Calls
The headset can accept and manage multiple calls simultaneously.

7.13 Voice Guidance
Voice guidance consists of spoken announcements that guide you through setup or provide updates on the headset's status (e.g., connection and battery status). Voice guidance is enabled by default.

7.14 Reset
Resetting the headset clears the list of paired devices and resets all settings.

8.3 Firmware Update
Before initial use, it is recommended to update the headset's firmware to the latest version via Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+. Firmware updates improve performance or add new features to Jabra devices.
You can update the headset's firmware using Jabra Direct on your computer or the Jabra Sound+ app on your smartphone. Both applications will notify you when a firmware update is available.

9.2 Headset Care
- Always store the headset in its case.
- To prevent reduced battery life or capacity, avoid storing the headset in excessively hot or cold environments, such as a closed car in summer or in winter conditions.
- If the headset is exposed to rain, wait for it to dry. It may take up to an hour before it can be turned on.
- It is recommended to store the headset at a temperature between -10°C and 45°C.
- Do not store the headset for prolonged periods without recharging it (maximum three months).
