Is the device disconnected?
- Check that the unit is powered on and observe that the unit's working light is on.
- Check that the Wi-Fi network is good and restart the router.
- If the device is located far from the router, making it impossible to get a good Wi-Fi signal, it is recommended to move the router closer or add a Wi-Fi extender to improve your home's Wi-Fi performance.
- Remove the camera from your Mubview account, reset the device, and re-add it.
- Check that the device firmware and applications are updated.
Updating the router or Wi-Fi password?
Remove the camera from your Mubview account, reset the device, and then re-add it using the new Wi-Fi or password.
Cannot play history videos?
- Check the SD card status in "Settings" to ensure the SD card is recognized correctly.
- Reinsert the SD card.
- In the app, format the SD card.
- Try another new SD card.
Does the alarm activate frequently?

Troubleshooting Network Connection Issues
The indicator has a solid red light
- If the indicator has a solid red light, please reset or unplug the device and reconfigure it.
- If the reset does not work, please contact our technical engineers at support@mubview.com to obtain the device update package (please check if you have an SD card reader and an SD card first).
- If all the above methods do not work, please do not hesitate to contact us for further solutions.
The indicator is red and blinks slowly, then blinks red rapidly after the device scans the QR code, and makes no "bee" sound
The above case may be caused by any of the following reasons: the QR code is abnormal, the lens is out of focus, or the device is defective.
- Ensure your phone is 5-8 inches from the lens and try scanning the QR code from different angles.
- If your phone is of a new brand, this could cause an abnormal QR code. In this case, please provide us with a screenshot of the QR code and your phone's model and operating system version.
- Ensure the lens is clean. Try the AP mode to configure your phone and then check if the lens is out of focus.
- If you still cannot configure your device and the device does not respond during configuration, please provide us with your device's serial number, a screenshot of the QR code, and the exact time you configured your device (if possible, provide a video of your device configuration) to help us solve the problem.
The indicator is red and blinks slowly, then turns to rapid red light after the device scans the QR code. But the rapid red light does not turn blue
The indicator blinking rapidly in red means the device has recognized the QR code successfully. The reasons why the device may not configure are as follows:
- The Wi-Fi is 5G instead of 2.4G.
- Incorrect password.
- Unstable network. Please place your device next to the router when configuring. If it still doesn't work, please restart your router and reset your device to try again. Also, you can try using your mobile data as a hotspot to configure your device and test if it works with hotspot Wi-Fi.
- If it doesn't work with hotspot, the internal Wi-Fi antenna of the device might be defective. In this case, please do not hesitate to contact us for further solutions.
The indicator is red and blinks slowly, and turns to rapid red light after the device scans the QR code. And the rapid red light turns blue after a while, but the device could not be added to the APP
Please provide us with your SN/account information, as well as the exact time you configured your device. We will send this information to the technical engineers team to solve the problem.
