IKEA Family Quiz Contest Rules
These regulations govern the "Quiz IKEA Family" contest organized in Poland.
1. Definitions
- Contest: The "Quiz" contest organized in the Republic of Poland via the website: www.IKEA.pl.
- Organizer: Loyalty Point Sp. z o.o., located in Warsaw, Poland, registered under KRS 0000491369, NIP 5270103385, REGON: 146968949, with a share capital of 300,000 PLN.
- Client: IKEA Retail sp. z o.o., located in Janki, Poland, registered under KRS 00000091681, NIP 5270103385, REGON: 010577890, with a share capital of 20,000,000 PLN.
- Participant: An individual referred to in section 3.1 of these Regulations.

- IKEA Family Program: A loyalty program organized by IKEA Retail sp. z o.o. for IKEA customers, offering benefits based on the terms and conditions available at https://www.ikea.com/pl/pl/customer-service/terms-conditions.
2. Contest Duration
- Sales of products eligible for participation and contest entries are from May 21, 2025, to June 30, 2025.
- Winner selection takes place from July 1, 2025, to July 21, 2025.
3. Participation Requirements
- Participation is exclusively for IKEA Family Program members, with exceptions noted in sections 3.2 and 3.3. Participants must have an active IKEA Family Program account throughout the contest.
- Employees and collaborators of the Organizer and the Client, as well as their family members (ascendants, descendants, siblings, spouses, and persons in adoption relationships), are excluded from participation.
- Each person can enter the contest only once. Subsequent entries from the same person will not be considered.
- Individuals not yet IKEA Family members can join the program during the contest period (as per section 2.1) and then enter the contest as per section 4.
4. Contest Procedure
- To participate, a Participant must:
- Purchase any IKEA product from a physical IKEA store in Poland or via the IKEA website/app during the period specified in section 2.1.
- Log in to their IKEA Family Program account during the period specified in section 2.1.
- Click "Take part!" on the Contest Website and complete the contest task.
- Confirm acceptance of the Contest Regulations and Privacy Policy.
- The contest task involves:
- Answering 10 multiple-choice questions correctly.
- Answering an open-ended question: "Which IKEA product would you choose to brighten your interior, and why?"
- Participants are informed of the correctness of their multiple-choice answers immediately after selecting an answer. One point is awarded for each correctly answered question on the first attempt. Multiple attempts are allowed for multiple-choice questions, but only the first correct answer earns a point. Correctly answering all 10 multiple-choice questions is required to proceed to the open-ended question. The maximum score for multiple-choice questions is 10 points.
- The answer to the open-ended question should be up to 1000 characters and in Polish.
- Entries not meeting the requirements or containing content violating laws, good customs, or social coexistence principles will be disqualified.
- Submitting an entry is confirmed by an automatic message.
5. Prizes
- Prizes include:
- One (1) IKEA gift card worth 300.00 PLN for purchases in IKEA stores (the "Grand Prize").
- Three hundred (300) IKEA gift cards, each worth 30.00 PLN for purchases in IKEA stores (the "Gift Cards").
Collectively referred to as "Prizes".
- Winners are not entitled to claim special features of the Prizes or their cash or material equivalent.
- The IKEA Gift Card Regulations are available at https://www.ikea.com/pl/pl/customer-service/terms-conditions.
- Prizes are awarded in accordance with Polish tax law, specifically the Personal Income Tax Act.
- Winners of the Grand Prize will receive an additional cash prize equivalent to 11.11% of the prize value, which will be used to pay personal income tax. This tax payment will be made by the Organizer to the relevant tax authority.
- Winners of the Gift Cards will also receive an additional cash prize equivalent to 11.11% of the prize value, to be used for paying personal income tax, which will be remitted by the Organizer to the tax authority.
6. Prize Awarding
- A total of 301 winners will be selected. If fewer than 301 valid entries are received, the Organizer reserves the right to award fewer prizes, subject to section 3.3.
- Prizes will be awarded within the timeframe specified in section 2.2.
- Winner selection will take place at the Organizer's premises from all valid entries.
- Prizes will be awarded by a three-person Commission comprising representatives of the Organizer and the Client.
- The Commission will select winners based on points earned in the multiple-choice questions and the creativity and originality of the answer to the open-ended question.
- The Commission's decisions are made by majority vote.
7. Winner Notification, Prize Distribution, and Results Announcement
- Each winner will be notified within 7 days of prize assignment, but no later than July 28, 2025, via email from the address used in the IKEA Family Program.
- The notification message will include the prize in the form of a QR code.
- The Organizer is not responsible for incorrect or changed winner contact details provided before prize collection.
8. Personal Data
- Participant personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
- The data controller for data collected via the IKEA Family Program is IKEA (Client). Contact details: prywatnosc@ikea.com or by mail to the Administrator's registered address.
- The Administrator (Client) will process Participant data according to the IKEA Family Program Regulations and privacy policy available at www.IKEA.pl/daneosobowe.
- The Administrator (Client) will share Participant data with the Organizer for contest purposes and to fulfill legal obligations, based on the legitimate interest of the Administrator in the proper conduct and settlement of the contest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- The Organizer (Loyalty Point Sp. z o.o.) is the data controller for personal data in the contest, located in Warsaw, Poland, registered under KRS: 0000491369, NIP: 951-237-56-53, REGON: 146968949. Personal data is shared by the Client with the Organizer.
- Contact for the Organizer's data administrator: kontakt@loyaltypoint.pl or by mail to the Administrator's registered address.
- The Organizer has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) reachable at iod@loyaltypoint.pl or by mail.
- Purposes and legal bases for data processing:
- Contest participation: Legitimate interest of the Administrator in conducting the contest within the IKEA Family Program.
- Complaint procedure: Legitimate interest of the Administrator in handling complaints.
- Prize awarding and tax obligations: Compliance with legal obligations related to tax and banking law.
- Claims: Legitimate interest of the Administrator in establishing, pursuing, or defending claims against Participants.
- Data retention periods:
- Contest participation data: During the contest and for 90 days after its conclusion.
- Complaint procedure data: For 6 months after the resolution of a complaint.
- Prize awarding and tax obligations data: Until the expiry of legal retention periods for accounting and tax documents.
- Claims data: Until the statute of limitations for claims related to the contest expires.
- Personal data may be shared with data processing entities (IT service providers, accounting firms) under contract with the Administrator and according to their instructions.
- Personal data will not be transferred to recipients outside the European Economic Area.
- Data subject rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
- The Organizer will provide Participant data and contest results to the Client, based on the Administrator's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
9. Complaint Procedure
- All complaints regarding contest execution should be submitted in writing or via email.
- A complaint must include the Participant's name, address, date and place of the event, contest name, a detailed description of the issue, and the requested resolution.
- Written complaints should be sent to Loyalty Point Sp. z o.o. at ul. Klimczaka 1, 02-797 Warsaw, marked "Quiz IKEA Family - reklamacja". Email complaints should be addressed to konkurs_ikea@loyaltypoint.io and titled "Quiz IKEA Family - reklamacja".
- Complaints will be processed within 14 days of receipt. Participants will be notified of the resolution within 7 days, either in writing or via email, depending on the submission method.
- Failure to use the complaint procedure or dissatisfaction with its outcome does not preclude the Participant's right to pursue claims in court.
10. Copyright
- The Participant is the creator of the answer to the open-ended question, as per Polish copyright law.
- By entering the contest, the Participant confirms they hold the necessary copyrights for their contest entry.
- The contest answer must not infringe on any legal provisions, copyrights, industrial property rights, or personal rights of third parties.
- The Participant's rights to their contest entries are not encumbered by third-party rights.
- Upon entering the contest, the Participant grants the Organizer and Client a non-exclusive license to use the open-ended question answer (the "Work") for promotional and advertising purposes for the Client, without territorial limitations, for 5 years, including the right to sublicense. This license covers:
- Reproduction by any technique, including printing, reprography, magnetic recording, and digital recording.
- Distribution, lending, or renting of the original or copies of the Work.
- Public performance, exhibition, display, playback, broadcasting, and public access to the Work in any place and time chosen by the user (Internet, mobile services, mobile applications).
- Use of the Work or its fragments for promotional and advertising purposes in all forms of advertising and promotion, including press, television, cinema, outdoor, and internet advertising, on any websites and domains, in mobile services, and in promotional materials and merchandise.
- Exercising dependent copyright for the Work (licensing and use of adaptations of the Work) along with the right to grant permission for exercising dependent copyright for the Work in all specified fields of exploitation.
- The Participant agrees to the dissemination of the Work without attribution of their name and surname.
11. Final Provisions
- Prizes forfeited by participants remain at the Organizer's disposal.
- Matters not covered by these Regulations are governed by Polish law.
- The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants suspected of violating the Regulations, good customs, or social coexistence principles.
- These contest regulations are available at the Organizer's registered office, in IKEA customer service departments, and on the website IKEA.pl/Regulaminy.
- Participants can update their data at any time via their IKEA Family Program profile.
- These Regulations come into effect on May 21, 2025.
