Troubleshooting

Why is the light not working when switched on?

• Check your power supply is switched on.
• Turn off the light and check that the bulb is inserted correctly.
• Check the bulb is still in working order.

Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Shade Assembly

Unpack the product and remove all packaging carefully to avoid scratching the surface. Remove the shade ring from the lamp holder section. Place the shade glass over the lamp holder, followed by the spacer (widest end first). Secure the assembly by refitting the shade ring. Do not overtighten, as this may damage the fitting. Ensure all components are straight and aligned.

Step 2: Bulb Fitting

Fit the bulb, ensuring it is the correct type and wattage as indicated on the fitting. Never exceed the stated wattage. (Bulb not supplied).

The table lamp is now ready for use.

Warnings and Cautions

Warnings

• The supply cable runs through the inside of the product. Take care not to place undue stress on the cable during unpacking to prevent connection issues.
• If you are in any doubt, consult a competent person for advice on electrical equipment assembly.
• If the external flexible cable is damaged, it must be replaced exclusively by the manufacturer, their service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
• To prevent electrocution, switch off the mains supply before assembling or maintaining this fitting. Ensure the plug is disconnected from any power supply before starting.
• Always use the correct type and wattage of bulbs as indicated on the fitting. Never exceed the stated wattage.
• When changing the bulb, always switch off at the mains and allow the old bulb to cool down before handling. Dispose of used bulbs carefully.

Cautions

• The bulb and surrounding parts can become hot during use.
• For indoor use only.

Care Instructions

We recommend cleaning with a soft dry cloth. Do not use abrasive materials, as these will damage the finish.

Replace bulbs with those from John Lewis or an established brand of the same type and compatibility.
