Installation Instructions
- Disassemble the rear bumper and remove the spare wheel. Detach the exhaust from its rubber mountings and remove the heat shield.
- At the rear of the bodywork, drill or saw two holes with a diameter of 70mm to 72mm. These drill centers are provided in the bodywork and align with the chassis beams. The large holes are for inserting the mounting pieces (-d) into the chassis beams.
- Drill holes at points (B) on the underside of the chassis beams using a 14mm drill bit. The drill centers are provided; scrape away the protective coating first. Points (A) align with provided holes on the sides of the chassis beams. On the left side, drill hole (A') with a 12mm drill bit on the marked center point.
- Insert the mounting pieces (-d) into the chassis, aligning them with the drilled and provided holes. Attach the mounting pieces (-e) to the outer side of the chassis beams, but do not tighten the bolts yet. Position the tow bar, aligning point (B) with the drilled holes, and screw the bolts into the mounting pieces (-d). Assemble (*) and tighten everything firmly.
