Choosing Mounting Screws for Your TV
Select the appropriate screws for mounting your TV to the stand's bracket. The kit includes various sizes:
- M-A: 4x M6x14
- M-B: 4x M6x30
- M-C: 4x M8x20
- M-D: 4x M8x45
- M-E: 4x Φ16xΦ8.2x1 Washer
- M-F: 4x Φ15xΦ8x5 Washer
- M-G: 4x Φ15xΦ8x15 Washer
For Flat-backed TVs: Choose the suitable length screws (M6 or M8) that fit your TV's mounting holes. Use a bracket, short screw, and washer.
For Irregular-backed (Rounded) TVs: Use a bracket, long screw, washer, and a spacer to ensure a secure fit, accommodating the TV's curved or uneven back surface.
Assembly Instructions: Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. Refer to the parts list for component identification.
- Step 1: Assemble Base Frame
Attach the vertical support frames (part 9) to the base panel using eight M6x30 screws (part K). Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Step 2: Install Adjustable Feet
Screw the four adjustable foot pads (part T) into the bottom of the base frame. These allow for leveling the stand on uneven surfaces.
- Step 3: Attach Side Panels to Base
Insert fourteen cam lock bolts (part Q) into the designated holes on the base panel. Then, align and attach the side panels, securing them with cam lock nuts (part P) and wood dowels (part R).
- Step 4: Connect Middle Shelf Supports
Insert wood dowels (part R) into the middle shelf support panels (parts 4 and 5). These dowels help align and strengthen the structure.
- Step 5: Secure Middle Shelf Supports
Attach the middle shelf support panels (parts 4 and 5) to the main structure using cam lock nuts (part P) and cam lock bolts (part Q). Ensure all connections are tight.
- Step 6: Install Central Support Panel
Attach the central support panel (part 3) to the main structure. This panel forms the back of the central compartment and provides stability. Secure it using cam lock nuts (part P).
- Step 7: Attach Top Panel
Place the top panel onto the assembled structure, aligning the cam lock bolts (part Q) with the cam lock nuts (part P) on the side and central panels. Secure the top panel firmly.
- Step 8: Install Rear Support Brackets
Attach the rear support brackets (part 14) to the back of the stand using M6x30 screws (part H) and Φ20x8.5x1 washers (part C). These brackets provide additional stability for the TV mount.
- Step 9: Secure Top and Bottom Panels
Further secure the top and bottom panels to the side supports using cam lock nuts (part P) and cam lock bolts (part Q). This reinforces the overall structure.
- Step 10: Finalize Main Structure
Ensure all panels are securely connected and the main TV stand structure is stable. Double-check all cam lock connections.
- Step 11: Install TV Mount Vertical Post
Attach the TV mount's vertical post (part 10) to the top panel of the stand using M8x35 screws (part I) and Φ16x8.4x1 washers (part B). Ensure the post is upright and firmly secured. The post has a cable management opening (part 15).
- Step 12: Install Interior Shelves
Insert the shelf support pins (part U) into the desired height holes within the stand's compartments. Place the interior shelves (parts 7 and 8) onto these pins.
- Step 13: Attach TV Mount Brackets to Post
Attach the TV mount brackets (part 13) to the vertical post (part 10) using M6x53 screws (part E), flat plates (part F), and small brackets (part G). These brackets will hold the TV's mounting plate.
- Step 14: Prepare TV Mounting Plate
Attach the TV mounting plate (part 11) to the TV mount brackets (part 13). This plate is where your TV will ultimately connect.
- Step 15: Attach TV Mounting Plate to TV
Secure the TV mounting plate (part 11) to the back of your television using the appropriate M6 or M8 screws (M-A, M-B, M-C, M-D) and washers (M-E, M-F, M-G) selected in the earlier step. Use the Φ20x8.5x1 washers (part C) and M8 nuts (part D) as needed for secure attachment.
- Step 16: Mount TV to Stand
Carefully lift the TV with the attached mounting plate and hook it onto the vertical post's brackets. Secure the TV in place using the safety strap (part S) to prevent accidental dislodging. Adjust the TV's position as needed (up to 180° rotation is possible).
