2 ASSEMBLY INFORMATION
A
Diagram A: Illustrates placing the bushing (1) and chuck (2) over the cable. Important: Chuck and Bushing cannot be placed over the cable after the assembly of the insert. Use a cable lubricant for easier assembly.
B
Diagram B: Shows cable preparation for IEC/EN 60320-1 and UL/CSA standards. Specifies cable O.D. (10.0 - 16.0 mm (0.39 - 0.63")) and stripping lengths (23 mm for outer jacket, 8 mm for insulation). PE strip length: 26 mm [1.0"].
C
Diagram C: Depicts sliding the cable into the contacts and clamping with a screw using a Torx T8 size tool. Includes a wiring table:

Diagram E: Shows holding the connector with the NEUTRIK tool (5) HTLACA and tightening the bushing with the NEUTRIK tool (6) HTLACB. For exact mounting, use a torque wrench with a 27 mm (1 1/8 inch) hex bit (7) and tighten to 2.5 Nm (22 inch pound / 1.8 lb-ft). Important: The black O-ring must be covered by the bushing to achieve IP protection (8).
3 FOR DISASSEMBLY
- Use the Neutrik tool HTLACB.
- Position the tool on the surfaces and open the clamping sleeve.
Diagram shows the Neutrik HTLACB tool being used to release the connector's clamping sleeve.
4 SAFETY INFORMATION
CAUTION
