2. Button Overview

Refer to the graphic below for a look at the various buttons on the speaker:

Speaker Top Panel Controls:

  • ● (Power On): Hold for 2 Seconds

  • ● (Play/Pause): Press
  • ● (Volume Up/Down): Press + or -
  • ● (Pairing Mode / Disconnect Device): Press + and -

3. Charging the Speaker

Connect the included USB Cable to the included AC Adapter to charge the speaker's internal battery. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

Charging Indicator:

When charging, an orange LED light will illuminate. The orange light will turn off when the unit is fully charged.

4. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

Pairing the OmniJacket Mini Speaker for the First Time

When the OmniJacket Mini speaker is powered on for the first time, it automatically enters pairing mode. The LED status light will flash rapidly as the speaker searches for a Bluetooth audio source to pair with.

Once successfully paired, the LED status light will stop flashing rapidly and begin shining steadily while remaining blue. An audible tone will confirm successful pairing.

Pairing Additional Bluetooth Devices

To re-enter pairing mode for additional devices, simultaneously press the Volume + and Volume - buttons. The LED status light will flash rapidly as the speaker searches for another Bluetooth audio source to pair with.

5. Connecting to a Bluetooth Device

  1. Power on the OmniJacket Mini speaker.
  2. Go to the Bluetooth Manager of the Bluetooth device.
  3. Search for Bluetooth devices and select "OmniJacket Mini" to start connecting.

6. Using the Stereo Plus Pairing Feature

The Stereo Plus Pairing feature allows connection of two OmniJacket Mini speakers together for a bigger, more powerful sound.

To use the Stereo Plus Pairing feature, follow these steps:

  1. Have one OmniJacket Mini speaker turned on, paired, and playing music.
  2. Power on the second OmniJacket Mini speaker.
  3. Press the Bluetooth buttons (✱) on both speakers.

The two connected speakers will now play the same music.

7. Auxiliary Cable Connection

The included 3.5mm Auxiliary Cable can be used to connect audio devices through the AUX In port on the speaker.

Note: If the product is exposed to salt water, it is recommended to rinse it off with tap water to maintain proper long-term performance.

Charging Smartphones or Other Electronic Devices

The OmniJacket Mini can be used to charge most smartphones and other electronic devices that plug into a USB port. Users can plug one end of their device's charging cable into their device and the other end into the USB Out port on the OmniJacket Mini (the waterproof cover will need to be opened). The OmniJacket Mini does not need to be plugged into a power outlet to charge other electronic devices; however, its battery life will decrease until the next recharge.

Altec Lansing One Year Warranty Card

This warranty covers the original consumer purchaser only and is not transferable.

The warranty covers products that fail to function properly under normal usage due to defects in material or workmanship. The product will be repaired or replaced at no charge for parts or labor for a period of one year.

What Is Not Covered by Warranty

Damages or malfunctions not resulting from defects in material or workmanship and damages or malfunctions from other than normal use, including but not limited to, repair by unauthorized parties, tampering, modification, or accident.

To Obtain Warranty Service and Troubleshooting Information

Customers can call 1-855-292-4087 or visit the Altec Lansing website at www.alteclansing.com.

To receive warranty service, along with the name and address of an authorized product service center, the original consumer purchaser must contact Altec Lansing for problem determination and service procedures. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice, evidencing that the Product is within the applicable Warranty period(s), MUST be presented to obtain the requested service. It is the customer's responsibility to properly package and send any defective products along with a dated copy of proof of purchase, a written explanation of the problem, and a valid return address to the authorized service center at their expense. Other items or accessories should not be included with the defective product. Any products received by the authorized service center that are not covered by warranty will be returned unrepaired.

NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE EXPRESSLY DESCRIBED ABOVE SHALL APPLY. DISTRIBUTOR FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AFTER THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD STATED ABOVE. NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OR GUARANTY GIVEN BY ANY PERSON, FIRM OR ENTITY WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT SHALL BE BINDING ON DISTRIBUTOR. REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE - AT DISTRIBUTOR'S SOLE DISCRETION -ARE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES OF THE CONSUMER.
