Notice
- Please always keep in mind the precautions when using the ELEGOO MERCURY PLUS Wash & Cure Machine. Failure to comply with these precautions may cause damage to the machine or cause individual injury.
- Please contact our customer service first to arrange replacement if any parts are found damaged or missing after receiving the products.
- Do not place the model directly in the cleaning bucket. Please leave the model on the build platform and wash them together, or place the model in the cleaning basket and then wash it.
- Please follow the safety regulations and use and store the washing liquid (which could be ethyl alcohol or isopropanol) properly. Do not exceed the maximum line when adding washing liquid, otherwise, the washing liquid may spill out and cause damage to the machine. Please cover the cleaning bucket with its lid and keep the washing liquid well stored after use.
- Please wash and dry the model first before curing, otherwise, the model would be covered with some white residues, sticky or cracked.
- Do not take away the lid from the machine when curing mode is on, as to prevent potential hazards from the UV lights.
- After long-hour use in the curing mode, it is normal that the temperature of the machine body and the cover will rise.
- Please adjust the curing time appropriately if the model turns yellow after curing. Over curing will lead to the model yellowing.
- The ELEGOO MERCURY PLUS Wash & Cure Machine is designed to be used within an ambient temperature ranging from 0°C to 40°C, and humidity ranging from 20% to 50%.
- Do not disassemble the ELEGOO MERCURY PLUS Wash & Cure Machine without consulting.

4.1 Wash Mode
This mode is used to clean uncured resin from 3D prints.
- Switch the machine to "Wash Mode" by touching the "MODE" button on the panel. The display mode icon will change to indicate wash mode (?️).
- Open the sealing lid of the cleaning bucket. Add an appropriate amount of washing liquid (e.g., isopropyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol) up to the maximum scale line. Do not exceed this line to prevent spillage. Place the cleaning bucket into the designated slot on the machine platform. Note: Remove the curing turntable before placing the cleaning bucket. (See Picture 1).
Picture 1 Description: Shows the ELEGOO MERCURY PLUS base unit with the curing turntable removed, and the cleaning bucket being placed into the designated slot.
- Submerge the 3D printed model in the washing liquid. Ensure the model is fully immersed but do not wash the model directly in the cleaning bucket itself, as this can damage both the model and the bucket. Use one of the following methods:
- For models less than or equal to 15 mm in size: If the printed model has been removed from the build platform, mount the build platform to the adjustable platform bracket. Adjust the bracket's length using the hand-twisting nuts on both sides to accommodate different model heights (up to a maximum of 120 mm). Then, hang the adjustable platform bracket on top of the central pillar. (See Picture 2).
Picture 2 Description: Illustrates the adjustable platform bracket, with a 3D printed model attached, being hung on the central pillar inside the machine. The bracket's adjustable nuts are visible.
- For models larger than 15 mm in size: If the printed model has been removed from the build platform, place the model in the cleaning basket (maximum model height is 160 mm). Then, hang the cleaning basket on top of the central pillar. (See Picture 3).
Picture 3 Description: Depicts the cleaning basket containing 3D printed models, being hung on the central pillar inside the machine.
- Once the model is submerged, cover the machine with the anti-UV lid.
- Touch "TIME+" or "TIME-" to set the desired washing time.
- Touch "ON/OFF" to start the washing process. The machine will beep when cleaning is complete.
- Remove the model for air drying. After cleaning, remove the cleaning bucket and seal it with its lid. The washing liquid can be reused multiple times. If washing liquid spills onto the machine, clean it up quickly to avoid a short circuit.
4.2 Cure Mode
This mode is used to cure 3D prints using UV light.
- Switch the machine to "Cure Mode" by touching the "MODE" button on the panel. The display mode icon will change to indicate cure mode (☀️).
- Place the curing turntable firmly onto the turntable positioning hole in the center of the machine platform. Note: Remove the cleaning bucket before placing the turntable. (See Picture 4).
Picture 4 Description: Shows the ELEGOO MERCURY PLUS base unit with the curing turntable correctly positioned on the central spindle.
- Place the 3D printed model in the center of the curing turntable.
- Cover the machine with the anti-UV lid.
- Touch "TIME+" or "TIME-" to set the desired curing time.
- Touch "ON/OFF" to start the curing process. The turntable will rotate slowly; slight jitter is normal.
- The machine will beep when curing is complete.
Maintenance
5.1 Recycling of Washing Liquid
When the washing liquid in the bucket has been reused for more than 30 times, it needs to be filtered and cleaned.
- Let the washing liquid stand for about 10 hours to allow the waste to settle at the bottom of the cleaning bucket.
- Pour the clear washing liquid from the top into another container.
- Clean the settled waste from the bottom of the bucket. This waste may convert to ordinary solid waste when exposed to sunlight.
- If necessary, the bucket rotor can be removed for cleaning. (See Picture 5).
Picture 5 Description: Illustrates the process of recycling washing liquid. It shows a cleaning bucket where waste has settled at the bottom, and the clear liquid is being poured into a separate container.
5.2 Cleaning the Rotor of the Cleaning Bucket
After a period of use, the bottom rotor of the cleaning bucket may rotate abnormally due to precipitation or foreign matter. In such cases, the rotor can be removed for cleaning.
(See Picture 6).
Picture 6 Description: Provides an exploded view of the cleaning bucket's bottom rotor assembly, indicating how it can be disassembled for cleaning.
