Parameter Settings

Parameter Value Description
SENSITIVITY 01-99 Adjusts the sensitivity of the pad membrane to your playing style. High sensitivity provides a strong sound with a light hit. Low sensitivity results in a quiet sound with a strong hit.
THRESHOLD 0-16 This setting allows you to set the trigger sensitivity. This way, you can prevent the membrane from sounding due to vibrations from other pads. Example: Sound B is reproduced, but sounds A and C are not. If you set a higher value, the unit may stop responding to light hits. Gradually increase the "threshold" value while hitting the pad. Check the settings. Repeat the process until you get the ideal value for your playing style.
SCANTIME 02-08 Sets the time to detect the trigger signal. Since the trigger response time can vary depending on the characteristics of each membrane or acoustic trigger, hits of the same strength may produce sounds of different volumes. In this case, you can adjust the trigger scan time.
MASKTIME 16-64 Prevents double triggering. During play, the stick may bounce off the membrane and hit it again. The Mask Time parameter helps avoid unwanted "double hits." After a hit, the membrane will not respond to subsequent hits within the set time. Adjust the Mask Time value during play.
XTALK CANCEL 00-80 Adjusts crosstalk. This parameter helps prevent crosstalk, where hitting one membrane produces the sound of another. This can happen when membranes are mounted on the same stand. In some cases, you can avoid crosstalk by increasing the distance between the mounting plates.
CURVE 00-03 Adjusts the relationship between the force of hitting the drum rim or cymbal and the volume of the sound. At a low parameter value, the sound will be quiet even with a strong hit.
RIM GAIN 01-99 If the sound is poor when hitting the rim, you can improve it by adjusting the RIM ADJUST parameter. If the value is too low, the sound may not be reproduced.
HEAD RIM ADJUST 00-99 If the sound is poor when hitting the rim, you can improve it by adjusting the RIM ADJUST parameter. If the value is too low, the sound may not be reproduced.

When adjusting, the SENS and RIMG adjustments are most commonly used. If you need to adjust sensitivity for an open hit, adjust it using SENS. If you need to adjust rim sensitivity, adjust it via RIMG. Adjustments for bow and cymbal edge are also applicable to SENS and RIMG.
