- Improper use may damage the appliance and cause injury.
- Do not touch hot parts; the heating element surface retains residual heat after use.
- The product conforms to applicable standards (Low Voltage Directive, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Food Compliant Materials, Environment).
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazards. Do not use other power cords.
- This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and not for staff kitchen areas, farm houses, hotels, motels, or bed and breakfast environments.
- Children must not use this appliance. Keep it and its cord out of their reach.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced capabilities if supervised or instructed on safe use and hazards.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Do not fill the appliance beyond the MAX mark on the pot. For foods that expand (e.g., rice, dehydrated vegetables), do not fill more than half full. Reduce water volume to avoid boiling over.
- Follow recommendations for food and water volume to prevent boiling over, which can damage the appliance and cause injury.
- Before use, check that the float valve and pressure limit valve are clean.
- Do not place foreign objects in the pressure relief system or replace the valve.
- When opening the lid, hold it by the handle and align arms with carrying handles. Boiling water could be trapped and cause burns.
- Be careful of scalding steam when opening the lid; open it slightly first to allow steam to escape gently.
- Never force the appliance open; ensure internal pressure has returned to normal. Do not open when under pressure.
- Use only appropriate spare parts, especially for the sealing gasket, cooking pot, and metal lid.
- Do not damage the sealing gasket; have it replaced by an Approved Service Centre if damaged.
- The appliance includes its own heat source.
- Do not place the appliance in a heated oven, on a hot hob, near an open flame, or flammable objects.
- Do not heat the cooking pot with any other heat source than the appliance's heating plate, and do not use any other pot or use the cooking pot with other appliances.
- Do not move the appliance under pressure. Touch hot surfaces with caution, use carrying handles and oven mitts if necessary. Do not lift by the lid handle.
- Use the appliance only for its intended purpose. It is not a steriliser for jars.
- Incorrect use may cause steam burns. Ensure the appliance is properly closed before pressurizing.
- Do not use the appliance empty, without its pot, or without liquid inside the pot, as this can cause serious damage.
- After cooking meat with skin (e.g., ox tongue) that might swell, pierce the skin before cooking if it appears swollen to avoid burns.
- For thick-textured foods (chick peas, rhubarb, compotes), shake the appliance slightly before opening to prevent food or juices from spurting out.
- Do not fry food in oil; only browning is allowed.
- Be careful of burns from spattering when adding food/ingredients during browning.
- Keep face and hands away from heat and steam during cooking and steam release. Do not touch the lid during cooking.
- Do not place a cloth or anything between the lid and housing to leave the lid ajar, as this can damage the gasket.
- Do not touch safety devices except during cleaning and maintenance.
- Ensure the bottom of the cooking pot and heating element are always clean, and the central part of the heating plate is mobile.
- Do not fill the appliance without its cooking pot.
- Use a plastic or wooden spoon to avoid damaging the non-stick coating. Do not cut food directly in the pot.
- If significant steam is released from the lid rim, unplug the appliance immediately and check for cleanliness. Contact an Approved Service Centre if necessary.
- Do not carry the appliance by the removable pot handles; use the side handles on the housing. Wear oven mitts if hot. Ensure the lid is locked before transporting.
- If pressure is released continuously through the valve for over 1 minute during pressure cooking, send the appliance for repair.
- Do not use a damaged appliance; take it to an approved service centre.
Save these instructions carefully.
- Use only spare parts from an approved service centre.
- The warranty does not cover abnormal wear and tear of the cooking pot.

General Information for Cooking Under Pressure
- Once pressure builds, the pressure limit valve rises, and the lid safety lock activates, preventing opening during cooking. Never attempt to open the lid during pressure cooking.
- Low, Medium, or High indicators show pressure status.
- Slight leaking from the pressure limit valve and sealing gasket may occur during the first few uses; this is normal.
- Traditional recipes can be adapted to the PRESSURE COOK setting: Low (delicate food), Medium (vegetables), High (meat, frozen food).
- A small amount of steam escaping during cooking is normal, as the valve is a safety feature.
- Always use a minimum of 10cl of water for pressure cooking.
- Cooking starts with a single beep; operational pressure is achieved after a double beep.
Safety Features
Safety When Opening: If the cooker is under pressure, the manometric rod is in the upper locking position, preventing the cover from opening. Never force it open or apply pressure to the rod. Ensure internal pressure has fallen (indicated by steam escaping from the safety valve) before attempting to open.
Two Overpressure Safety Features:
- First device: the safety valve releases pressure.
- Second device: the joint lets off steam at the back of the cover.
If an overpressure safety feature is triggered: Turn off the appliance, allow it to cool completely, then open it. Check and clean the safety valve, decompression ball, and gasket. If the appliance still leaks or is not operational, take it to an Authorised Service Centre.

Cleaning and Maintenance
- After cooking, unplug the appliance and let it cool for at least 2 hours before cleaning. Clean after each use.
- Clean the housing and inside of the lid with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance or pour water into it without the inner bowl.
- Clean the condensation collector thoroughly under water and replace it.
- Rinse the sealing gasket and dry it thoroughly before replacing.
- To clean the float valve, remove the lid, gently remove the valve, rinse under water, and dry thoroughly. Ensure the duct is clean before replacing.
- Press the internal part of the safety valve spring to check it is not clogged.
- Clean the cooking pot and accessories. Accessories are dishwasher safe. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the pot to protect the non-stick coating.
- Remove the pressure limit valve from the pipe, clean both valve and pipe with water, and ensure the pipe duct is clean before re-plugging the valve.
- Do not immerse the appliance. Always use the provided cooking pot. Do not pour water or food directly into the appliance.
- If water spills on the heating element (without the pot), do not use the appliance and take it for repair.
- Change the sealing gasket every 2 years (use gasket reference 22CM CYSB50YC8).
