APP Printing Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Download the Jadens Printer App

Scan the QR code provided in the original document (or search for "Jadens Printer" in your app store) to download and install the application on your smartphone.

Step 2: Enable Phone Permissions

To connect to the printer, you need to enable Bluetooth and Location services on your smartphone.

• Slide down from the top of your screen to access quick settings.
• Turn on ? Bluetooth and ? Location.

For secure printing and data protection, permissions for Bluetooth, Location, and Nearby Devices are required. These will not compromise your privacy. Please refer to the user agreement for details.

Step 3: Grant App Permissions

When prompted by the Jadens Printer app, grant it permission to access your device's location (precise or approximate) and to find, connect to, and determine the relative position of nearby devices. You will also need to allow the app to activate Bluetooth.

• Choose "While using the app" or "Only this time" for location access.
• Select "Allow" for device detection and Bluetooth activation.

Step 4: Add Printer in the App

Ensure your printer is powered on. Open the Jadens Printer app and tap the "+" icon to add a new printer.

Step 5: Connect the Printer

The app will search for nearby devices.

• Option 1: If your printer is detected, it will appear automatically. Tap "Connect".
• Option 2: If the printer doesn't appear automatically, double-click the printer's power button to print a QR code. Then, use the app's scan function to connect the printer.

Step 6: Access Paper Settings

Once the printer is connected, tap "More settings" (or "Más ajustes" / "Plus d'options" / "Weitere Einstellungen") to access paper configuration options.

Step 7: Configure Paper Type and Width

In the "More Settings" menu:

• Select the "Paper Type": ?️ Roll paper or ? Folded paper.
• Choose a paper width from the presets (e.g., US Letter, A4, 4", 3") or tap "+" to customize the width.

Step 8: Select Printing Options

Choose the type of content you wish to print:

• File: Print documents like Word, PDF, Excel, PPT, TXT.
• Image: Support for JPG/PNG files.
• Template: Create content using provided templates.
• DIY: Create custom content with text or images.
• Graphic: Print provided charts or diagrams.
• Print Web: Print content from websites.
• Micro Text: Print small text margins on a page.
• Scan Image: Scan an image with your phone's camera to print.
• Image to Text: Recognize and print text from an image.
• Banner: Create word banners spanning the page width.
• Scan Code: Scan existing barcodes or QR codes to print them.

Step 9: Print from File/Image

When printing from files or images, try different preview modes (Fixed, Dynamic, Clear) to select the best printing effect.

Tip: If you receive documents (PDF files) from platforms like Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, you can open them directly and print them. After receiving the file, tap it to open, then select "Open in Another App" and choose the "Jadens Printer" app.
