Jadens Printer App Quick Start Guide

Download the Jadens Printer App

Scan the QR code provided (or search for "Jadens Printer" in your app store) to download the latest version of the Jadens Printer app. The app interface may be updated periodically.

Prepare Your Smartphone

Ensure Bluetooth and Location Services are enabled on your smartphone.

• Enable Location Services: Slide down from the top of your screen and turn on Location. This is required for secure printing and data protection, and to connect to the printer. Jadens Printer will request permission to access your device's location. You can choose "While using the app", "Only this time", or "Don't allow". For full functionality, "While using the app" or "Only this time" with precise location is recommended.
• Enable Bluetooth: Jadens Printer will request permission to turn on Bluetooth to find and connect to nearby devices. You can choose "Allow" or "Deny".

Note: AirDrop, AirPlay, Find My, and Location Services also utilize Bluetooth. Jadens Printer requires these permissions for secure printing and data protection, and these will not compromise your privacy. Please refer to the user agreement for details.

Connect Your Printer

Turn on your Jadens printer. Open the Jadens Printer app and tap the "+" icon to add a printer.

The printer can be connected in two ways:

1. Automatic Pop-up: The printer may appear automatically in the app. Tap "Connect" when it appears.

2. QR Code Scan: Press the printer's power button four times to print a QR code. Then, in the app, tap the scan icon [scan icon] to scan the printed QR code and connect the printer.

Once connected, the printer status will show as "Connected". You can view the serial number and access "More settings".

Configure Paper Settings

Tap "More settings" to access paper configuration options.

Choose a paper size from the presets (e.g., 4" x 6", 3" x 5", 2.25" x 1.25", 2" x 2", 1.5" x 1.5") or tap "+" to customize the width. The compatible paper width ranges from 25.4mm to 112mm (1 inch to 4.4 inches).

The printer supports both rolled and folded thermal paper.
Supported paper sizes include: 2"x2", 2.25"x1.25", 4"x6", 3"x5", 4"x6" (Address label).

Select Printing Options

Choose your desired printing options. This may include settings for print quality (e.g., Light, Medium, Dark) and other features.

Printing from Files/Images: When printing from a file or image, try different modes to preview and select the best printing effect.

Printing from Local Storage: You can print PDF documents or images directly from your device's storage.

Tips for Printing from Social Media: If you receive documents (PDF files) from platforms like Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, you can open and print them directly. After receiving the file, tap it to open, then select "Open in Another App" and choose the "Jadens Printer" app.
