Getting Started Guide
This guide provides essential information to quickly set up and begin using your Minelab Vanquish 340 metal detector.
Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your Vanquish 340:
- Attach the lower shaft to the armrest.
- Connect the middle shaft to the lower shaft.
- Join the upper shaft to the middle shaft.
- Mount the control box onto the upper shaft.
- Connect the search coil cable to the control box.
- Insert four AA batteries into the battery compartment.
- The final assembled product is ready for use.

Quick Start

Search Modes
The Vanquish 340 offers multiple search modes tailored for different targets:

Search for coins anywhere in the world, ignoring trash in parks and on the beach.
Jewellery [jewellery-symbol]
Recover valuable jewellery wherever it has been lost.
All Metal [metal-symbol]
Detect all types of metal, including iron.
Controls
The control panel features the following:
