Product Overview

This speaker can be used with any compatible, Bluetooth®-enabled device to stream music and enjoy hands-free calling. It has an IPX6 rating, meaning it is protected against high-pressure water jets from all directions.

Note: Please read this manual before use.

Operation

Status Indicator

TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Connection

Connect two HRSP 5040 speakers for a true wireless stereo experience.

1. Ensure neither speaker is connected to your device via Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth OFF on your device.
2. Press and hold the power button on both speakers to turn them ON. The HR button on both speakers will flash.
3. On either speaker, press and hold the '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously for about 2-3 seconds until a prompt is heard. Another prompt will be heard in 2 seconds, indicating TWS connection is successful.
4. Turn Bluetooth ON in your device settings and select "HRSP 5040" for Bluetooth pairing.
5. When you hear a prompt and both button LEDs stay ON, Bluetooth connection to your device is completed successfully.

Note: To clear pairing records while connected via Bluetooth in TWS mode, press both the power and '+' buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Charging

Use the included USB C charging cable to fully charge the speaker before first use. Charging takes approximately 4 hours.

• The red LED is ON while charging.
• The red LED turns green when charging is complete.

Tip: If the speaker beeps every few seconds, the battery is low. Please charge the speaker. If not plugged in within approximately 15 minutes, it will turn OFF.

Pairing

1. Press and hold the power button to turn the speaker ON. The blue LED will flash.
2. Turn Bluetooth ON in your device settings and select "HRSP 5040".
3. Once paired successfully, the blue LED will be ON and the speaker will chime.
4. If pairing fails or you want to pair with a new device, repeat the steps above.

Note: If no device is paired within 10 minutes, the speaker will turn OFF. To un-pair, press the power button or disconnect in your device settings.

Note: The speaker will automatically re-pair with previously paired devices if Bluetooth is ON and within range. The speaker will chime to indicate successful re-pairing.

Hands-Free Speakerphone

When a smartphone is connected, follow these steps to take calls hands-free:

1. If there is an incoming call while streaming music, the speaker will ring (iOS) or beep (Android™).
2. Press the Play/Pause button to answer the call.
3. Press the Play/Pause button again to end the call.

Line-In (AUX IN) Mode

1. Use the supplied 3.5mm audio cable to connect the speaker directly with your device.
2. The LED will blink slowly.

Tip: LINE-IN mode takes priority over Bluetooth® connection.

Troubleshooting

No Sound:

• Ensure the speaker is charged and has enough battery power.
• Ensure the speaker is switched ON.
• Ensure your Bluetooth® device is ON.
• Adjust the speaker volume to an appropriate level.

Note: If the speaker beeps every few seconds, the battery is low. Please recharge the speaker.

For PC Use:

• Select "HRSP 5040 Stereo" as the playback device for music listening.
• Select "HRSP 5040 Hands-Free AG Audio" when receiving calls. Check the volume during calls and test speaker levels before using as a speakerphone.
