Useful Accessories
Accessories include baking tray, grilling rack, wire basket, rotisserie spit, and pizza stone. Ensure utensils do not touch heating elements. Follow specific usage notes for each accessory.
Tips for Best Results
The oven's efficient design and convection functions allow for shorter baking times and lower temperatures. Always check food consistency early and adjust settings as needed.
- The oven heats up quickly (e.g., 100°C in 2 mins, 200°C in approx. 5 mins on Air Fry). Preheating is often unnecessary.
- Baking times and temperatures may be shorter than conventional recipes. Check food earlier to prevent burning.
- For recipes requiring high temperatures, decrease settings by 10-20°C. Higher temps yield darker browning; lower temps ensure even cooking and tender crusts.
- The oven responds rapidly to temperature changes.
- For recipes requiring preheated dishes, place food in the oven within 5-10 minutes to avoid energy waste.
- Additional fat is not required for baking; use a little oil for a lighter crust with Air Fry.
- Always maintain at least 3cm distance to heating elements, more at high temperatures.
- Shelf slot selection affects results; even crusts are achieved with greater distance.
- Food may dry out after long storage; soaking fruit/vegetables in cold water or coating food with oil can help.
- Sugar/protein-rich marinades may brown quickly; use lower temperatures and longer baking times, supervising closely.
- Convection is always beneficial; decrease temperature by 20-30°C when using convection compared to non-convection baking.
- Use the baking tray in the bottom slot for drips to protect heating elements and the crumb tray.
WARNING: Do not place foil or paper directly on heating elements or the crumb tray.
Special Notes for Baking Meat
- Preheat baking dishes for meat to seal juices. Sautéing meat beforehand is also recommended.
- Ensure meat is at room temperature before cooking.
- Use a cooking thermometer to achieve desired core temperatures (65-75°C for rare to well-done beef, 85°C for poultry).
- Higher oven temperatures can lead to greater weight loss in roasts. 130°C with normal convection is often sufficient.
- If the roast lacks crust or color, increase temperature to 175-200°C for a few minutes, using Air Fry if needed.
- Keep cooked meat warm at 70°C for 25-45 minutes.
Suited Baking Dishes
Use metal (aluminum, stainless steel), oven-proof glass, ceramic, or stoneware dishes. Check manufacturer instructions for high-temperature suitability. WARNING: Avoid containers that could burst, melt, or distort.
Important Note on Cooking Bricks: Heat cooking bricks gradually and keep them away from heating elements. Use the baking tray and grilling rack in the bottom slot to protect the brick.
Using the Rotisserie Spit
The rotisserie spit is suitable for food that can be securely attached and won't fall apart during baking. Ensure food does not get too close to heating elements (maintain 3cm distance).
Fixing Food at the Rotisserie Spit: Use food-safe cords, clamps, or skewers. Penetrate food centrally with the spit. Bind loose parts securely. Ensure food is fixed firmly and does not protrude excessively.
Inserting the Rotisserie Spit: Insert the spit at an angle, connecting the left end to the spit holder and the right side to the rotor drive. Ensure it is securely seated.
Selecting the Program: Choose a rotisserie program (Air Fry or Normal Convection). The default program upon switching on is Fries.
First Use
WARNING: Keep appliance and packaging away from children. The appliance can get hot. Touch only operating elements. Move by holding the bottom sides. Always switch off, unplug, and cool down before moving or cleaning. Do not immerse in liquids or place in a dishwasher.
