Toast Program Note: Baking time is shown in seconds.

Pizza Stone & Program: Use the ceramic pizza stone on the grilling rack (middle shelf) for best pizza results. The program is optimized for this.

Preheating Note: Preheating is generally not required. Use the acoustic signal to know when the set temperature is reached if preheating is desired (allow 3-5 minutes).

Rotisserie Spit & Programs: Suitable for food that can be securely fixed. Use with normal or Air Fry convection.

Child Lock: Locks the control panel to prevent unintended operation.

Automatic Shut-off: The oven switches to standby if idle for over 3 minutes, cancelling any paused program.

Heating Elements & Shelf Slots

Heating Elements within the Oven Compartment

The oven's design provides advantages like faster heating, reduced baking time/temperature, and quick response to settings, leading to energy, time, and money savings.

3 Shelf Slots

Use the 3 shelf slots for accessories (baking tray, grilling rack, wire basket) to position food optimally. Always maintain at least 3cm distance to heating elements, more at high temperatures. CAUTION: Do not place insets directly below top heating elements.

Shelf SlotUse for
TopGrilling meats, toasting bread, thin sandwiches. Wire basket for air frying/drying. Keep distance to top elements.
MiddleMost baking/cooking tasks, reheating, defrosting, toasting, pizza, braising. Taller items like large meats or vegetable spits.
BottomCooking, reheating, warming larger items. Roasts, or cooking with upper heat only. CAUTION: Do not use wire basket in bottom slot (risk of overheating).

Separately Controlled Upper and Lower Heat

The oven has 4 top and 2 bottom heating elements that can be operated separately for controlled heat distribution. The convection fan ensures even heat distribution.

Note: Direct thermal radiation is significant at high temperatures. Maintain sufficient distance to heating elements.

Convection and Air Fry Functions

The oven offers 2 convection fan speeds: Normal (reduced power for even heat) and Air Fry (full power for tasks like fat-free frying). It can also be used for drying fruit, vegetables, and herbs at 55-80°C.

Display, Icons and Dials

The control panel features sensor buttons and dials under a transparent sheet. The display shows temperature or remaining time. You can toggle between temperature and time, and switch between °C and °F.

Course of the Pizza Program

For pizza, use the pizza stone on the grilling rack (middle slot). A baking tray can be placed below for drips. The program is adapted for the pizza stone, but the baking tray can also be used.

The pizza program starts, shows actual temperature, and uses Air Fry with upper/lower heat. Preheating is usually not necessary. The oven signals when the set temperature is reached, pausing for 3 minutes for pizza insertion before resuming.

Pause Function

Interrupt operation anytime using the Start/Pause button. Cooking time stops, elements/rotor stop. Settings can be changed during pause. Resuming uses new settings. The program cancels if another is selected, the On/Off button is pressed, or if idle for over 3 minutes.

Locking the Control Panel Against Unintended Touch

Hold the Lock button for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate the child lock, preventing accidental changes.

Useful Accessories

Accessories include baking tray, grilling rack, wire basket, rotisserie spit, and pizza stone. Ensure utensils do not touch heating elements. Follow specific usage notes for each accessory.

Tips for Best Results

The oven's efficient design and convection functions allow for shorter baking times and lower temperatures. Always check food consistency early and adjust settings as needed.

WARNING: Do not place foil or paper directly on heating elements or the crumb tray.

Special Notes for Baking Meat

Suited Baking Dishes

Use metal (aluminum, stainless steel), oven-proof glass, ceramic, or stoneware dishes. Check manufacturer instructions for high-temperature suitability. WARNING: Avoid containers that could burst, melt, or distort.

Important Note on Cooking Bricks: Heat cooking bricks gradually and keep them away from heating elements. Use the baking tray and grilling rack in the bottom slot to protect the brick.

Using the Rotisserie Spit

The rotisserie spit is suitable for food that can be securely attached and won't fall apart during baking. Ensure food does not get too close to heating elements (maintain 3cm distance).

Fixing Food at the Rotisserie Spit: Use food-safe cords, clamps, or skewers. Penetrate food centrally with the spit. Bind loose parts securely. Ensure food is fixed firmly and does not protrude excessively.

Inserting the Rotisserie Spit: Insert the spit at an angle, connecting the left end to the spit holder and the right side to the rotor drive. Ensure it is securely seated.

Selecting the Program: Choose a rotisserie program (Air Fry or Normal Convection). The default program upon switching on is Fries.

First Use

WARNING: Keep appliance and packaging away from children. The appliance can get hot. Touch only operating elements. Move by holding the bottom sides. Always switch off, unplug, and cool down before moving or cleaning. Do not immerse in liquids or place in a dishwasher.

Initial Heating: The heating elements may produce smoke and a smell during the first heating cycle, which is normal and harmless. For best results, heat the empty oven for 20 minutes at 220°C with good ventilation before first use.

Setup Steps:

  1. Unpack and check all parts.
  2. Remove all packaging and promotional materials.
  3. Clean the appliance and its parts.
  4. WARNING: Do not place the oven in a cabinet or near hot surfaces. Ensure adequate ventilation and distance from flammable objects.
  5. Place the appliance on a suitable surface, ensuring ventilation slits are clear. Remove all accessories and foreign objects from the oven compartment. Close the door.
  6. Unwind the power cord and plug into a suitable outlet. A beep indicates power connection. The control panel briefly illuminates, then enters standby mode.
  7. Touch the On/Off button. The control panel illuminates.
  8. Turn the program dial to select a program (default is Fries). The icon will flash. The default temperature (220°C) is displayed.

Operation

WARNING: The appliance exterior and steam can become very hot. Touch only the door handle and control panel. Use oven gloves and handles.

During Operation: Do not leave the oven door open for extended periods. Do not place foreign objects inside the oven. Use only suitable baking dishes and ensure food/utensils do not touch heating elements.

IMPORTANT: You can cancel operation at any time by pressing the On/Off button. Always unplug when not in use or before cleaning.

Note: Preheating is often unnecessary due to the oven's rapid heating capabilities. Placing food into a cold oven can save energy.

Starting the Program:

  1. Press the Start/Pause button. The oven begins heating, and the remaining time counts down. The operation icon turns. Program settings are locked during operation.
  2. If preheating, insert food or rotisserie spit after the oven reaches temperature.
  3. Programs may provide acoustic signals (e.g., Pizza program pauses for insertion; Fries program signals mid-time for turning food).
  4. Check food consistency during operation. Interrupt the program to adjust settings if necessary.
  5. When the cooking time elapses, the oven switches off heating elements, signals completion, and enters standby mode after 3 minutes of inactivity.

Preparing the Oven and Your Food

  1. Prepare Food: Select the appropriate accessory. Remove inedible parts and defrost food if necessary. Place food evenly on the accessory.
  2. Prepare Oven: Remove unused accessories. Ensure the oven compartment is free of foreign objects. Confirm the crumb tray is inserted.
  3. WARNING: Food can catch fire if overheated! Keep food and dishes at least 3cm from heating elements. Food may swell, break, or drip.
  4. Without Preheating (Normal Case): Select a shelf slot and place your food into the oven compartment.

If drips or crumbs are expected, insert the baking tray into the bottom shelf slot.

If using the rotisserie spit, insert it into the rotor drive and spit holder.

Preheating for Special Cases: Preheating may be necessary for certain baking dishes or the pizza stone. Insert the accessory without food.

WARNING: Tin foil or baking paper can bend and touch heating elements. Do NOT cover the crumb tray with foil or paper to prevent overheating and short circuits. Do not operate with the oven door open.

  1. Close the oven door.
  2. Insert the power plug into a suitable wall outlet. The appliance enters standby mode.
  3. Set up the oven for your task (see 'Selecting the Program').

Preparing the Rotisserie Spit

CAUTION: Food should not exceed approx. 15cm length and 10cm diameter, and should not protrude the spit more than 4-5cm to avoid contact with heating elements. Ensure food remains secure during cooking.

Fixing Food at the Rotisserie Spit: Use food-safe cords, clamps, or skewers. Penetrate food centrally. Bind loose parts. Ensure food is fixed securely and does not stick out.

Inserting the Rotisserie Spit: Insert the spit at an angle, connecting it to the spit holder and rotor drive. Ensure it is securely seated.

Selecting the Program

The program icon flashes, and the preset temperature is displayed. The Fries program is selected by default. Turn the program dial to select your desired program (Air Fry programs are marked). You can start the program immediately or set temperature and time first.

Checking and Changing the Settings

You can adjust temperature and baking time. The oven switches to standby if idle for 3 minutes, losing settings.

  1. Confirm the selected program by pressing the program dial center.
  2. Turn the setting dial to adjust temperature (5°C/10°F steps) within the available range.
  3. Press the setting dial center to switch to baking time and turn the dial to set it.

IMPORTANT: Toggle between °C and °F by holding the center of the selection dial for 5 seconds.

Note: Toast program time is displayed in seconds.

Starting the Program

WARNING: Appliance exterior and steam can be very hot. Use oven gloves and handles.

  1. Press the Start/Pause button. The oven begins heating, and the time counts down.
  2. If preheated, insert food or rotisserie spit.
  3. Follow program-specific signals (e.g., Pizza pause, Fries mid-time turn).
  4. Check food consistency and interrupt the program to adapt settings if needed.
  5. When the time elapses, the oven signals completion and switches off heating elements. It enters standby mode after 3 minutes of inactivity.

Monitoring the Baking Process and Adapting the Settings

Check food consistency during initial uses. Interrupt the program using the pause function to adjust settings like baking time, temperature for crispiness, or temperature for core cooking.

Note: Changing heat or convection settings requires selecting a new program, which cancels the current one. If idle for over 3 minutes after pausing, the program cancels automatically.

  1. Interrupt the program by touching the Start/Pause button.
  2. Check your food and adjust settings as needed.
  3. Resume operation by touching Start/Pause again.
  4. Cancel the program by touching the On/Off button.

After Baking

CAUTION: Place hot items on heat-resistant surfaces. Use oven gloves.

  1. Carefully open the oven door.
  2. Remove accessories (grilling rack, wire basket, baking tray) using the handle. Support heavy items. Place on a heat-resistant surface.
  3. Remove the rotisserie spit by hooking the handle and carefully sliding it out.
  4. If not using the oven again, switch it off and unplug it.
  5. Allow the oven to cool down with the door open. Clean the oven, crumb tray, and accessories after each use to prevent food residue buildup, which can cause smoke or fire.

IMPORTANT: Do not leave the appliance connected unnecessarily and unattended.
