Introduction
This document provides operating instructions for the Gastroback Classic Waage. Please read all provided instructions carefully before using the appliance and pay attention to all warnings.
Knowing Your Classic Waage
The Classic Waage features:
- Weighing pan: Removable, Ø 205 mm, made of stainless steel.
- Button: Used to set the tare weight.
- Large measuring scale: Analog, with a maximum capacity of 2 kg and a sensitivity of 10g.
- Housing: Made entirely of stainless steel.
Assembling and Disassembling the Appliance
- Place the scale on a flat, stable surface.
- Insert the two scale pan fixtures with their allocated troughs into each other.
- Place the weighing pan fortifications onto the base with the holes. Attach the scale cup fixtures with the provided screws. Insert the screws through the holes and screw the nuts onto the screws until they are tight and the scale cup fixtures do not move.
- Place the weighing pan onto the scale pan fixtures.
Operating
- To reset the value to "zero", turn the button until the red arrow on the measuring scale points straight up.
- Fill the weighing pan. The red arrow on the measurement scale will indicate the weight.
- You can reset the value to "zero" again by repeatedly turning the button until the red arrow on the measuring scale points straight up. The weighing scale can remain filled.
Care and Cleaning
- The weighing pan can be cleaned in the automatic dishwasher. Do not clean the rest of the scale in the dishwasher.
- Clean the exterior of the scale with a soft, damp cloth.
- Attention: Do not immerse the measurement scale in water or clean it under running water.
Notes for Disposal
Dispose of the appliance and packaging in accordance with local regulations for electrical appliances and packaging. Contact your local disposal company. Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste; use separate collection facilities. Hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater or air if disposed of improperly.
When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposal at no charge.

Warranty
Gastroback guarantees that all products are free from defects at the time of purchase. Demonstrable manufacturing or material defects will be repaired or replaced free of charge within 2 years of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper treatment, overloading, or installation mistakes. Technical interference by third parties without written agreement voids the warranty. The purchaser must present the original sales receipt to claim warranty service and bears all costs and risks of transport.

Please ensure appliances are packed securely for shipment without accessories. Include the sales slip and a short fault description. Processing time for defective appliances is approximately 2 weeks.
The appliance is intended for household and occasional commercial use. Any other use is considered unintended use or misuse and may cause severe injuries or damage. There is no warranty claim if injuries or damages are caused by unintended use.
The warranty period is reduced to 1 year if the appliance is used commercially.
