Multi-use Temperature & Humidity Data Logger
Product Overview
This temperature and humidity data logger is mainly used in fields such as medicine, food, life science, flowers, breeding industry, ice chests, containers, shady cabinets, medical cabinets, refrigerators, laboratories, and greenhouses. The RC-51H is plug-and-play and can directly generate a data report without needing to install data management software. Data can still be read even if the battery runs out.
Structure Description
The device features a clear LCD screen for displaying readings and status indicators. Key components include:
1. Transparent cap: Protects the USB connector.
2. USB port: Connects the logger to a computer.
3. LCD screen: Displays temperature, humidity, status, and other information.
4. Seal ring: Ensures environmental protection.
5. Button & Bi-color indicator: Used for manual operation and status indication (red and green).
6. Sensor: Measures temperature and humidity.
7. Product label: Contains model, version, certifications, and serial number.
The LCD screen displays various indicators:
A. Battery indicator: Shows battery status.
B. Mean kinetic temperature: Displays MKT value.
C. Start recording indicator: Indicates recording has started.
D. Stop recording indicator: Indicates recording has stopped.
E. Cyclic recording indicator: Shows if cyclic recording is enabled.
F. Computer connection indicator: Confirms connection to a computer.
G. Temperature unit (°C/°F): Displays the selected temperature unit.
H. Humidity unit: Displays the humidity unit.
I. Timing indicator: Shows timing status.
J. Average value indicator: Displays average readings.
K. Number of records: Shows the count of recorded data points.
L. Combined indicator: Provides combined status information.
The product label typically includes:
a. Model: RC-51H
b. Firmware version: e.g., 1.0
c. Certification information: e.g., CE, RoHS, EN12830
d. Barcode: For identification.
e. Serial number: Unique device identifier, e.g., EL1603000001.
Parameter Instruction
Users can reconfigure parameters using the data management software. This process may clear original parameters and data.
Alarm Threshold: Supports 3 upper temperature limits, 2 lower temperature limits, 1 upper humidity limit, and 1 lower humidity limit.
Alarm Zone: The range of readings that are considered outside the normal operating conditions.
Alarm Type: Can be 'Single' (records the duration of a single over-limit event) or 'Cumulative' (records the total time spent over the limit).
Alarm Delay: The logger does not trigger an alarm immediately when readings enter the alarm zone; it waits for the specified delay time to elapse.
MKT (Mean Kinetic Temperature): An evaluation method for assessing the impact of temperature fluctuations on stored goods.
Operating Instructions
The data logger can be stopped by software or by pressing the stop button. Users can stop the logger by clicking the stop button in the data management software.

Viewing Data
After the data logger is connected to a computer's USB port, it automatically generates a PDF data report. During report creation, the red and green indicators flash alternately, and the LCD screen shows the progress. Once creation is complete, both indicators light up simultaneously, allowing users to view the report. This process typically takes no more than 4 minutes.
Steps to view data:
Rotate the transparent cap in the direction of the arrow and remove it.
Insert the data logger into the computer's USB port to view the data report.
The generated report will be a PDF file (e.g., XXX.pdf).
