Product Overview
The Elitech RC-51H is a multi-use temperature and humidity data logger designed for applications in medicine, food, life science, flowers, breeding industry, ice chests, containers, shady cabinets, medical cabinets, refrigerators, laboratories, and greenhouses. It features plug-and-play functionality, allowing direct data report generation without requiring separate data management software. Data remains accessible even if the battery is depleted.
Structure Description
The RC-51H data logger features an LCD screen for displaying readings and status. The device body houses the sensor and a button with a bi-color indicator (red and green). A transparent cap protects the USB port, and a seal ring ensures device integrity. The product label, containing model, firmware version, certification information, barcode, and serial number, is also present.

Parameter Instruction
Users can reconfigure parameters via data management software. This process will clear original parameters and data.
- Alarm threshold: Supports 3 upper temperature limits, 2 lower temperature limits, 1 upper humidity limit, and 1 lower humidity limit.
- Alarm zone: The range beyond the alarm threshold.
- Alarm type:
- Single: Records the duration of continuous over-temperature events.
- Cumulative: Records the total time of all over-temperature events.
- Alarm delay: The logger waits for a specified delay time before alarming when the temperature exceeds the alarm zone.
- MRT (Mean kinetic temperature): An evaluation method assessing the impact of temperature fluctuations on stored goods.
Operating Instructions
The data logger can be stopped using the data management software. Users can also stop the logger via the device button.
Startup Modes:
- Instant-on: Disconnect to USB. LCD Indicator: 'REC' (Green indicator flashes 5 times).
- Timing start: Disconnect to USB. LCD Indicator: 'SEC' (Green indicator flashes 5 times).
- Manual start: Press and hold button for 5s. LCD Indicator: 'SEC' (Green indicator flashes 5 times).
- Manual start (delayed): Press and hold button for 5s. LCD Indicator: 'SEC' (Green indicator flashes 5 times).
Stop Modes:
- Manual stop: Press and hold button for 5s. LCD Indicator: 'REC' (Red indicator flashes 5 times).
- Stop (disable manual stop): Reaches Maximum record capacity. LCD Indicator: 'REC' (Red indicator flashes 5 times).
- Stop (Enable manual stop): Reaches Maximum record capacity or press and hold the button for 5s. LCD Indicator: 'REC' (Red indicator flashes 5 times).

Report Generation
Upon connecting the data logger to a computer's USB port, a data report is automatically generated. During creation, the red and green indicators flash alternately, and the LCD screen displays the progress. Once creation is complete, both indicators light up simultaneously, allowing users to access the data report. Document creation typically takes no more than 4 minutes.
