Important Information
Important Preliminary Note
Warning: Risk of electric shock. Do not open. The lightning symbol with an arrow inside an equilateral triangle warns the user about uninsulated "hazardous voltage" inside the product housing, which is high enough to cause an electric shock.
The exclamation mark inside an equilateral triangle indicates that important operating and maintenance (service) instructions are supplied with the device in this user manual.
WARNING: For fire and electric shock hazard, never expose the device to rain or moisture.
WARNING: A Class I device must be connected to a grounded power outlet.
Important Safety Instructions
- Read these instructions.
- Keep these instructions.
- Heed all warnings.
- Follow all instructions.
- Do not use the device near water.
- Clean only with a dry cloth.
- Do not block any ventilation openings. The device should be installed according to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Do not place the device near heat sources such as radiators, ovens, or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades, one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are for your safety. If the supplied plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet.
- Ensure that no one steps on the power cord and that it is not pinched, especially at the plugs, socket outlets, and at the point where it exits from the device.
- Use only accessories/attachments specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug the device during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
- All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel. Servicing is required when the device has been damaged in any way, such as when the power cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the device, it has been exposed to rain or moisture, it does not operate normally, or it has been dropped.
- Disconnecting from the mains: By switching off the POWER switch (13), all functions are stopped and the amplifier indicators go out. However, the device is only completely disconnected from the mains by pulling the power plug (11). Therefore, the power plug and socket outlet must be easily accessible.
- The device is connected to a grounded power outlet via a power cord.
- Marking information is located on the bottom of the device.
- The device must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water, and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the device.
WARNING: This product must not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste under any circumstances. Go to the nearest recycling center for electrical and electronic equipment.
NEEC AUDIO BARCELONA, S.L. assumes no liability for damages that may arise to persons, animals or objects due to non-compliance with the above warnings.

Introduction
The eMSP50Ti is a 50W 2-way sound projector, carefully selected for the most common 70/100V applications: voice announcements and background music. It offers long durability and optimal speech and music reproduction. Manufactured in reinforced ABS and certified to IP66 protection rating, it is ideal for high performance in outdoor areas.
Key Features
- Two-way horn in waterproof ABS
- 50W RMS at 8 Ω
- Selectable power levels at:
- 100V: 50W / 25W / 12.5W / 9W / 4.5W / 3.5W / 8Ω
- 70V: 25W / 12.5W / 9W / 4.5W / 3.5W / 1.75W / 8Ω
- IP66 protection rating
- Connection via terminal block
Connection
The eMSP50Ti is suitable for high and low impedance operation. Accordingly, it has a connection terminal on the back where the desired operating mode can be configured.
Connection Diagram:
The device features a connection terminal with power taps for different wattage and impedance settings.
TAP | @100V | @70V |
---|---|---|
1-2 | 50W | 25W |
2-3 | 25W | 12.5W |
3-4 | 12.5W | 9W |
1-3 | 9W | 4.5W |
2-4 | 4.5W | 3.5W |
1-4 | 3.5W | 1.75W |
1-5 | 8 ohm / 50W | 8 ohm / 50W |
Note: When the loudspeaker is used in 70V systems, the power levels for the 100V setting will be halved. In the case of 50V systems, the power will be reduced to a quarter.
The connection method for low impedance operation allows configuring the loudspeakers for these conditions with a maximum power of 30W. If you choose this option, remember that the amplifier is subject to certain limitations when multiple loudspeakers are connected to its output, especially when the total impedance of the devices drops below 4Ω. It is also important to ensure that the connection cables between the amplifier outputs and the loudspeakers are of good quality and as short as possible; this is particularly important when bridging long distances and the loudspeaker impedance is low.
Caution: The 70/100V line distribution system originates from the technical necessity of operating loudspeakers with different impedances and/or power ratings on the same line or amplifier channel, without having to worry about the total impedance of the resulting group of devices. This solution also makes it possible to work with long cable runs with minimal power loss and with cable cross-sections that are significantly lower than those typically used in low-impedance systems.
CAUTION: If the system is accidentally connected to a low-impedance amplifier when the selector switch is set to 100V/60W, the loudspeaker will not be damaged, but the power output will be well below the normal level. If the loudspeaker is accidentally connected to a 70/100V network when the selector switch is set to 8Ω operation, this could cause severe damage to the loudspeaker.
Installation Location and Mounting
Follow these general rules:
- Always install the device on solid and load-bearing surfaces.
- Ensure that the surface on which you intend to install the loudspeaker can support its weight.
- Always use a safety lanyard for secure installation of the loudspeaker.
- To achieve good sound reproduction, it is important that there are no obstacles between the loudspeakers and the audience. High frequencies, unlike low frequencies, are extremely directional, and any obstacle can lead to attenuation of the frequency response.
