This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.

01 Meet the Security Camera
The camera features two antennas for wireless connectivity. A microphone is located on the front, below the lens. The lens is centrally positioned, and infrared and white light emitters are present for night vision. A power port, speaker, Micro SD Card Slot, and Reset Button are located on the rear or bottom of the camera.

8 Reset Button | Press and hold for 10s to reset to factory settings. A beep indicates successful reset. |
Infrared Light: After the camera is plugged in, the infrared light is on to indicate that the camera is powered on.
Reset Button: Press and hold for 10s until hearing the beep of "Restore the factory... wait for a moment." to reset or restore to the factory setting.
Micro SD Card Slot: Supports local Micro SD card storage (up to 512GB).
02 APP Installation and Account Registration
Download the 'ieGeek' APP.
Method 1: Download the 'ieGeek' APP from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Method 2: Scan the 'ieGeek' APP QR code to download it.

Tips: Please grant the following 2 permissions while using this APP for the first time:
- Allow 'ieGeek' APP to access mobile cellular data and wireless LAN or it will fail to add the IP camera.
- Allow 'ieGeek' APP to receive pushed messages, or the phone will not receive an alarm push when motion detection or audible alarm is triggered.
Register Account:
New users need to register by email. The concrete steps are as follows:
- Click "Sign Up".
- Follow the steps to complete the registration of the account.
- Log in.
03 Preparations Before Connection
Before Connecting:
- Please insert the Micro SD card before powering on; otherwise, the SD card cannot be recognized. (Micro SD card is not included; the camera supports up to 512GB Micro SD card).
- Place the camera and smartphone 1-3 ft (30-100cm) away from the router to set Wi-Fi.
- Make sure that the camera is using 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
Power on Camera:
- Plug in the camera's power cable. Please use the 12V==1A power adapter (included) to power the camera.
- Press and hold the reset button for 10s to reset the camera.
- After you hear the beep of "Reset Successfully", it proves that the camera is being reset. Please wait for above 60s.
- When you hear the beep of "Ding", it means that the camera has been reset and powered on.
04 How to Add a Camera to APP
1. Tap '+' to Add a Device
The app screen shows an empty device list with a '+' icon in the top left corner. Tap this icon to begin adding a device.
2. Select 'Outdoor Dome'
The 'Select Device Type' screen is displayed. Choose 'Outdoor Dome' from the list of camera types.
3. Tap 'Powered on' and 'Next'
The 'Power on the Device' screen prompts you to power on the device and place it near the Wi-Fi router. Tap 'Powered On' and then 'Next'.
4. Scan Camera's QR Code Label
The 'Scan the QR Code' screen appears. Scan the QR code located on the device's label to automatically retrieve the device ID. Alternatively, you can enter the ID manually or use the 'Can't find the QR code' option.
5. Input Wi-Fi Password
The 'Connect to Wi-Fi' screen requires you to select your 2.4G Wi-Fi network and enter the corresponding password.
6. Prepare to Connect
The 'Prepare to Connect' screen shows a progress indicator, typically starting around 15%, as the connection process begins.
7. Scan QR Code
The 'Scan QR Code' screen displays a QR code for pairing. The system attempts to pair automatically (indicated as 'Trying to pair automatically (4S)'). A 'Network Troubleshooting Tool' is also available.
8. Device Added
The 'Device Added' screen confirms that the camera has been successfully connected. It usually displays the camera's name and a play button to view the live feed.
Tip: When using a LAN Ethernet cable (not included) for connection, scan the camera's QR code label to connect successfully. Ensure your camera is connected to the network cable and router.
Tips: To enhance your experience, the app is continuously updated. If you encounter any inconsistencies with these connection steps, please follow the instructions provided within the app.

Wall Mounted Installation
Follow these steps for wall mounting the camera:
- Step 01: Mount the bracket onto the wall.
- Step 02: Drill holes in the wall and insert wall anchors.
- Step 03: Secure the bracket to the wall using screws.
- Step 04: Attach the camera to the mounted bracket.
- Step 05: Adjust the camera angle as needed.
06 FAQs
1) Why the phone can't receive alarm notifications:
- Please check if you have accepted ieGeek notifications on your phone (Your Smartphone Setting).
- Please check if you have enabled "Notification" in ieGeek (Camera "Setting" – "Notification" – "Motion Detection"/"Sound Detection"/"Human Detection" - "Enable Alarm").
- Please check if you have enabled "Sound" and "Vibration" in ieGeek ("Account"-"More"- "Notification Center").
2) Why does the Wi-Fi connection fail during the initial setup process?
- Please set up the camera using a 2.4GHz internet connection; 5GHz is not supported for connection yet.
- Please ensure you have entered the correct Wi-Fi password.
- Place your camera close to your router to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal.
- If the reset button was pressed for 10 seconds, the camera will be restored to factory settings; you need to configure the connection again.

3) What to do if Wi-Fi is frequently disconnected?
- Check if the Wi-Fi network is good and restart the router. Ensure the camera's Wi-Fi signal is above 85%.
- If the location is too far from the router, causing a weak Wi-Fi signal, it is recommended to move the router to a closer location or add a Wi-Fi extender to enhance home Wi-Fi performance.
- Remove the camera from your MIPC account, reset the camera to restore factory settings (use 2.4GHz Wi-Fi; 5GHz is not supported), and then re-add it.
- Check that the device firmware and applications are up to date.
- If the camera still can't connect to Wi-Fi stably, please contact us through service@iegeek.com.
4) Why history videos cannot be played?
- When using SD card storage, please insert the SD card before turning on the camera.
- It only supports up to 512GB SD card maximally.
- Check the SD card status in "Settings" and ensure it is recognized.
- The read and write speed requirements are Class10 level, and the file format is Fat32 or exFat.
- Re-insert the SD card.
- Format the SD card in the app.
- Try another new SD card.
