Features
- 30 kV ultra-high voltage capability.
- High sensitivity design.
- Selectable attenuation: x200, x2000.
- Split design for convenient portability.
The PT-5230 probe is suitable for testing high-voltage signals, with attenuation ratios of 200X/2000X selectable based on the measurement range. Its BNC interface is compatible with oscilloscopes from any brand.
The active differential probe converts signals between any two points into signals relative to ground, making them usable by oscilloscopes, multimeters, or data acquisition equipment. It is applicable in most circuit testing fields, especially for motor circuit testing.
Usage Precautions
- When measuring voltages above 1 kV, do not hold the probe body. It is recommended to place it on a workbench. The output connected to the oscilloscope or other instruments must also be grounded.
- For general measurements exceeding DC: 10 kV or AC: 7 kV RMS, measure for 1 minute and then allow a 30-minute rest period for the internal high-voltage resistors to cool down. The heat generated during testing at the highest voltage is significant; use with caution.
- When measuring DC 10 kV to 15 kV, or AC 7 kV RMS to 10 kV RMS, do not exceed 1 minute of measurement time.
- When measuring mains voltage (including two-phase and three-phase power), do not exceed 5 kV RMS.
Applications
- High-power or high-voltage isolation measurements.
- Power supply conversion and related designs.
- Welding and electroplating power supplies.
- Variable frequency home appliances.
- Motor drive design.
- CRT display design.
- Low-voltage electrical testing.
