3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
3.1 Maintenance Precautions
Regular maintenance and self-inspection are crucial for the longevity and performance of your electric bike.
- Vehicle Maintenance and Self-Inspection:
- Ensure the bike is properly adjusted from the factory. Contact the manufacturer if you have questions.
- Regularly check tire pressure to maintain the recommended range.
- Periodically inspect key components such as handlebars, seatpost, saddle, axles, bottom bracket, flywheel, chain, and wheels. Tighten any loose nuts or bolts promptly.
- Lubricate moving parts every six months with appropriate grease (e.g., for wheel hubs, bottom bracket, rear axle, headset, pedal bearings). Lubricate the chain and cables every two months with motor oil.
- Replace worn parts like brake pads, chains, and tires with identical models and specifications.
- Motor Maintenance: The motor is sealed; do not open it. Keep the motor clean and free from foreign substances. Avoid impact or overheating. The motor has an IPX5 water resistance rating; do not use a high-pressure washer or submerge it in water.
- Battery Maintenance: Lithium batteries have a long lifespan, influenced by usage. Charge regularly and avoid letting the battery completely discharge. For long periods of non-use, charge the battery for at least two hours monthly. Never store a depleted battery, as this can cause irreversible damage. Dispose of old batteries responsibly at designated recycling points. Do not expose the battery to fire or high temperatures.

4. Service Guide
4.1 Warranty and Service
Warranty Principles:
- Parts are covered according to the warranty period.
- The warranty period begins from the date of purchase.
- Unauthorized disassembly of the charger, battery, or motor voids the warranty.
- Other vehicle parts have a three-month warranty for quality issues.
- For accessory defects, maintenance must be performed at a professional repair point; do not disassemble privately. Ensure all labels on controllers, batteries, and chargers are intact.
- When the entire vehicle is repaired, warranty cards, invoices, and conformity certificates must be presented.
- Battery warranty is a one-to-one exchange. Battery issues require sending the battery to the manufacturer for testing to determine warranty eligibility.
