The MEAN WELL LRS-200 series is a 200W single-output enclosed power supply designed for industrial applications. It features a 30mm low profile, selectable 115VAC or 230VAC input, and a wide range of output voltages from 3.3V to 48V. With high efficiency up to 90% and free air convection cooling, it operates reliably from -25℃ to +70℃. The series offers extremely low no-load power consumption (<0.75W), complete protection functions (short circuit, overload, over voltage, over temperature), and 5G anti-vibration capability, making it a cost-effective solution.

Notes
- Note 1: All specifications are measured at 230VAC input, rated load, and 25℃ ambient temperature unless otherwise specified.
- Note 2: Ripple and noise are measured using a 12" twisted pair wire. The input capacitor is 0.1uF and 47uF at the load end. The bandwidth is 20MHz.
- Note 3: Tolerance includes set-up tolerance, line regulation, and load regulation.
- Note 4: Line regulation is measured at rated load from low line to high line.
- Note 5: Load regulation is measured from 0% to 100% rated load.
- Note 6: Setup time is measured at cold start. Frequent ON/OFF switching may increase the setup time.
- Note 7: For 12V~48V models, 150% peak load capability is built upon 1 second duration. If the peak load continues for more than 1 second, LRS-200 will enter hiccup mode and recover automatically once the load is back to the rated current.
- Note 8: For operation above 2000 meters (6500 feet), the ambient temperature must be derated by 5℃/1000 meters.
- Note 9: The power supply should be regarded as a component of a system. The EMC tests are performed with the unit mounted on a 1mm thick, 360mm x 360mm metal plate. The final equipment must be re-evaluated with regards to EMC compatibility. For guidance on EMC testing, please refer to "EMI Testing of Component Power Supplies" on the Mean Well website. - Note 10: This power supply does not comply with the harmonic current requirements of EN61000-3-2. Do not use in: a) Equipment used in the EU, b) Equipment connected to a public mains network with a nominal voltage of 220Vac or higher, AND c) the power supply is: - installed in equipment with an average or continuous input power greater than 75W, - part of a lighting system. Exceptions apply for professional equipment >1000W or symmetric controlled heating elements <=200W.

Diagrams and Curves
Block Diagram
The block diagram illustrates the internal structure of the LRS-200 series power supply. It shows the signal flow from AC input (L, N) and Frame Ground (FG) through an EMI filter, rectification, a switching circuit controlled by PWM, a transformer, and finally to a rectification/filtering stage for the DC output (+V, -V). Protection circuits for overload, over voltage, and over temperature are integrated, along with a detection circuit and PWM control. The oscillation frequency is 65KHz.
Derating Curve
The derating curve shows the relationship between ambient temperature and the maximum load percentage the power supply can handle. It features two curves for different input voltage ranges: 90-132VAC and 180-264VAC. The curve indicates that the power supply can operate at full load up to approximately 50-60°C for lower voltage models (3.3-5V) and up to 60-70°C for higher voltage models (12-48V) under free air convection. Above these temperatures, the output load must be derated.
Static Characteristic Curve
The static characteristic curve illustrates the output load capacity versus input voltage at 60Hz. It presents two curves for the 90-132VAC and 180-264VAC input ranges. These curves demonstrate that the LRS-200 series power supply can deliver its rated output load across the entire specified input voltage range for each setting.

The LRS-200 series power supply has a compact, enclosed design with overall dimensions of 215mm (Length) x 115mm (Width) x 30mm (Height). It features mounting holes for M4 screws on both sides for secure installation.
