Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Assemble the Base Frame
Connect two side frame pieces to the base panel. Insert dowels (100092) into the designated holes on the base and side panels. Then, align the side panels with the base and secure them using screws (114142) tightened with the Allen key ?.
Step 2: Attach the Back Panel
Carefully slide or clip the back panel, which has a textured pattern, into the grooves or slots on the frame. Secure the back panel by inserting screws (194732) into the pre-drilled holes.
Step 3: Attach the Second Side Frame
Align the second side frame piece with the base and back panel. Secure it using the provided hardware, similar to Step 1.
Step 4: Attach the Top Panel
Place the top panel onto the assembled frame. Insert dowels (100092) and secure the top panel using screws (114142) tightened with the Allen key ?.
Step 5: Insert Shelves
Slide the shelves into the unit, resting them on the internal supports or shelf pins.
Step 6: Prepare for Wall Mounting
Attach the primary wall mounting brackets to the frame of the PLATSA unit. These brackets will later connect to the wall. The diagram shows a "click!" sound effect, indicating a secure attachment of the bracket to the unit.
Step 7: Attach Wall Mounting Hardware
Securely fasten the wall mounting brackets to the furniture frame using screws (10042534).
Step 8: Insert Shelves
Insert any remaining shelves into the unit.
Step 9: Position Unit Against Wall
Carefully move the assembled PLATSA unit to its final desired location against the wall.
Step 10: Secure Unit to Wall
Align the unit with the wall. Use the attached wall mounting brackets to secure the unit firmly to the wall. It is crucial to use screws and plugs (not included) that are suitable for your specific wall type. Seek professional advice if unsure. The diagrams illustrate the process of aligning and fastening, with a "click!" sound effect indicating a secure connection.
Step 11: Stacking Units (Optional)
To create a taller storage solution, additional PLATSA units can be stacked on top of the base unit. The maximum recommended stacked height is 300 cm (118 7/64 inches). Connect stacked units securely using screws (152059) for the base connection and screws (108736) for the top connection.
