⚙️ Initial Setup and Configuration
? 1. Configure Internet Access
To set up your internet connection:
- Open a web browser and enter http://fritz.box.
- The FRITZ!Box user interface will appear.
- Enter the FRITZ!Box password when prompted and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Once configured, you can surf the web with your connected devices.
? 2. Register a Cordless Telephone
To connect a cordless phone:
- If you have a FRITZ!Fon: Start your phone and press the "Connect/WPS" button ? on the FRITZ!Box. Three LEDs will flash, and the FRITZ!Fon will be registered.
- For other manufacturers' phones: First, put the phone into registration mode. Then, enter the FRITZ!Box PIN (default is "0000") on the phone. Finally, complete the registration by pressing the "Connect/WPS" button ? on the FRITZ!Box.
☎️ 3. Connect Telephones by Cable
Connect telephones using standard cable connections.
Connection Ports:
- TAE: For analog telephones.
- RJ11/12: For ISDN or analog telephones.

? 4. Establish Wi-Fi Connection (Smartphone)
Connect your smartphone to the FRITZ!Box Wi-Fi network:
- Method 1 (QR Code): Scan the QR code provided on the device or documentation to establish the Wi-Fi connection directly. [Note: QR code excluded from output]
- Method 2 (Manual):
- Open your smartphone's Wi-Fi settings.
- Select the Wi-Fi network named "FRITZ!Box 6660 AF".
- Enter the Wi-Fi password (WPA2) provided: 37798981156289810123.
? 5. Establish Wi-Fi Connection (Windows Computer)
Connect your Windows computer to the FRITZ!Box Wi-Fi network:
- Click the Wi-Fi icon ? in the Windows taskbar notification area.
- Select the Wi-Fi network "FRITZ!Box 6660 AF" from the list.
- Click "Connect".
- Briefly press the "Connect/WPS" button ? on the FRITZ!Box. The Wi-Fi connection will be established.
? 6. Connect with the Cable Junction
Connect the FRITZ!Box to your cable network:
- Use a coaxial cable to connect the FRITZ!Box to your multimedia socket.
- Connection Options:
- Option A & C: Direct connection to various multimedia sockets.
- Option B: Connection using a multimedia socket adapter to a Radio/TV socket.
Note: The coaxial cable and adapter are not included in the FRITZ!Box package.

?️ 7. Connect a Computer Using a Network Cable
Connect a computer to the FRITZ!Box using an Ethernet cable for a wired connection.

? Device Overview and Indicators
The FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable has several ports and indicator lights:
Ports:
- ⚡ Power: For power connection.
- ? Cable (2.5G/1G): For connecting to the cable network.
- ☎️ FON 1: For connecting analog telephones or fax machines.
- ?️ LAN 1-5: For connecting computers or other network devices via Ethernet cable.
LED Indicators (Notes):
Power/Cable: Lights up for active internet connection ✅. Flashes when the internet connection is interrupted ❌.
WLAN: Press to switch Wi-Fi on/off. Lights up when Wi-Fi is active ?.
Fon/DECT: Press to page/search for telephones ?. Lights up during a telephone call. Flashes when voice messages are waiting in the network ✉️.
Connect/WPS: Press to register a wireless or DECT device ?. Flashes while a wireless or DECT device is registering.
Info: Flashes when messages are waiting on the FRITZ!Box answering machine (configurable) ?. Lights up red for important notifications on http://fritz.box.
⚠️ Safety Instructions
- Do not install the FRITZ!Box during an electrical storm.
- During a storm, disconnect the FRITZ!Box from the power supply and from the internet.
- The ventilation slits of the FRITZ!Box must never be obstructed.
- Do not place the FRITZ!Box on surfaces sensitive to heat.
- Connect the FRITZ!Box to an easily accessible power outlet.
- The FRITZ!Box is intended for indoor use only.
