Buttons and LED Indicators
The FRITZ!Box 7590 is equipped with several buttons and LED indicators to provide status information and control device functions.

Connecting Your FRITZ!Box
Follow these steps to connect your FRITZ!Box 7590:
1. Connect to Electrical Power:
Connect the FRITZ!Box to the provided power adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet. The "Power/DSL" LED will begin to flash, indicating it is powering up.
2. Connect to the DSL Network:
Use the supplied DSL cable to connect the FRITZ!Box to your All-IP or direct access line. If your setup includes a DSL line with an analog or ISDN telephone line requiring a DSL splitter, connect the FRITZ!Box using the DSL/telephone cable and the included telephone adapter. 3. Register Cordless Telephones:
The FRITZ!Box 7590 supports the registration of up to six cordless (DECT) telephones.
- Initiate the registration mode on your DECT telephone.
- Enter the default PIN "0000" on the telephone.
- Press and hold the "Fon/DECT" button on your FRITZ!Box.
The FRITZ!Box can simultaneously support up to six cordless telephones, ten switchable smart plugs (like FRITZ!DECT 200/210), and twelve radiator controls (like FRITZ!DECT 300/Comet DECT) via the DECT wireless standard.
4. Connect Telephones by Cable:
- Connect analog telephones to the "FON1" and "FON2" sockets located on the back panel of the FRITZ!Box.
- Connect ISDN telephones to the "FON S0" socket.
5. Wireless LAN Quick Connection (WPS):
Devices equipped with wireless LAN can be easily connected to the FRITZ!Box using the WPS function. For Android devices, AVM recommends using the FRITZ!App WLAN available on Google Play.

- A list of available wireless networks will appear on your screen.

6. Connect Computers:
Computers equipped with wireless LAN and operating systems like MAC OS can connect to the FRITZ!Box by using the network key. This key is printed on a label located on the underside of the FRITZ!Box. Alternatively, computers can be connected directly to the FRITZ!Box using the yellow network cable.
Note: A computer can only be connected to the FRITZ!Box using one of these methods at a time.
Radio Frequency Specifications
WLAN/Wi-Fi:
- 2.4-GHz Band: Operates between 2.4 GHz and 2.483 GHz, with a maximum power output of 100 mW.
- 5-GHz Band: Operates between 5.15 GHz and 5.35 GHz (max. 200 mW) and between 5.47 GHz and 5.725 GHz (max. 1000 mW).
Important Note for 5-GHz Band: The frequency range from 5.15 GHz to 5.35 GHz is designated exclusively for indoor use within EU member states.
DECT:
- Operates between 1880 MHz and 1900 MHz, with a maximum power output of 250 mW.
