Features and Controls

Driver's Main Controls

Side View Mirror: Press the L or R button. Adjust the mirror using the directional switch. ↔️

Power Window Lock Button: Disables the power window switches on the rear passenger doors. ?

Door Lock: Locks/unlocks all doors. ?

Window Switches: Control front and rear power windows. ?️

Front Seat Adjustment

Manual: Levers adjust forward/backward (1), seat cushion height (2), and seatback angle (3). ?

Power: Buttons adjust forward/backward (1), seat cushion height (1), seatback angle (2), and lumbar support (3). ?

Fuel Filler Door

1. Push the fuel filler door opener button. ⛽
2. Remove the fuel tank cap. Tighten the fuel filler cap until one click is heard.

Liftgate Opening

Press to open. Smart key needs to be within range. Press and hold to unlock tailgate. ⬆️

Headlights

Controls include Parking lights, Auto headlights, All lights OFF, Headlight Delay. Pull switch for high beam/Smart high beam. Push for turn signals/lane change signals. ?

Dynamic Bending Light (DBL)

DBL uses steering angle and vehicle speed to swivel and level headlamps for improved visibility. Turn ON by setting the knob to AUTO when the vehicle is in ready mode. ?

12 Volt Battery Reset Switch

If the vehicle Start/Stop button does not respond, the 12V Battery Reset Switch may need activation. Press the switch to reconnect the 12V battery and start the vehicle within 15 seconds. Operate the vehicle for 30 minutes to charge the battery. If reset fails due to deep discharge, jump-starting may be required. The 12V battery is integrated into the lithium high voltage battery assembly and is automatically protected against current draw when a minimum level is reached. ?

To access the manual lock cylinder, use the manual key from the FOB to push up under the driver's side handle, then pull off the access cover.

Instrument Cluster

Displays include: Power gauge, Speedometer, Battery SOC (State of Charge) gauge, Fuel gauge, Warning and indicator lights, and LCD display (including Trip computer). ?

Warnings and Indicators

Key indicators and warning lights include: Ready indicator, Service warning, Air bag, ABS, MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp), Low fuel, Master warning, Seat belt, EBD, Charging system, Engine coolant temperature, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), Immobilizer, Turn signal, Light ON, Exterior light, Cruise SET, AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking), SPORT mode, LKAS (Lane Keep Assist System), EV mode, Regenerative brake, EPS (Electric Power Steering), Engine oil pressure, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), ESC OFF, High beam, Cruise, ECO mode. ⚠️

Vehicle Power Gauge

Indicates driving efficiency: CHARGE (regenerated energy), ECO (eco-friendly driving), POWER (exceeding eco-friendly range). ⚡

Hybrid Battery SOC (State of Charge) Gauge

Shows remaining hybrid battery power. If the SOC is near the "L (Low)" level, the vehicle automatically operates the engine to charge the battery. ?

Instrument Panel Illumination

Adjust the instrument cluster brightness using the illumination control button. ?

LCD Display Control & Modes

Controls: MODE button (1), MOVE switch (2), SELECT/RESET button (3). Modes include Trip Computer, Turn By Turn (TBT), SCC/LKAS, A/V (Audio/Video), Information, User Settings, Warning. ?️

Automatic Climate Control

Controls include: Driver's temperature (1), Passenger's temperature (2), AUTO (3), OFF (4), Front defrost (5), Rear defrost (6), AC (7), Air intake (8), Fan speed (9), Mode selection (10), Driver only (11), SYNC (12). Climate control information screen (13). ?️

DEFOGGING / DEFROSTING: Press front windshield defrost (5), set temperature to warmest, set fan speed to highest. ❄️

AUTOMATIC HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: Press AUTO (3), set desired temperature. System automatically controls modes, fan speeds, air intake, and AC. ?

SYSTEM OFF: Press OFF (4) to turn the system off. Blower stops, outside air is selected, and air is at the last set temperature.

MODE SELECTION: Changes air flow direction. ?️

AIR INTAKE CONTROL: Selects Recirculated air or Outside (fresh) air. ?

SYNC BUTTON: Adjusts driver and passenger temperatures and air flow equally. ?

DRIVER ONLY: Cold air primarily directed to the driver's seat. ?

REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER: Press to activate/deactivate. ♨️

Multimedia

Clock Adjustment

Adjust time via the SETUP button on the audio or navigation head unit. Options include Date/Time, 24 Hours format, Daylight Saving Time (DST), and GPS time. ⏰

Radio Mode

Turn on with the POWER button. Select BAND (FM/AM/SiriusXM). Rotate TUNE knob to select channels. Set presets by pressing and holding a preset button. Adjust sound settings via SETUP > SOUND. ?

Navigation

Map Screen Controls: Place (1), Home (2), Map view (3), Volume (4), Zoom in (5), Map scale (6), Zoom out (7), Quick menu (8), NAV button (9), Map scroll (10), Destination (11), Waypoint (12), Save (13), POI (14), Vehicle position (15). ?️

Destination Search: Search by Address, Previous destinations, Local search (via connected services), POI categories, Charging stations, Restaurants, Emergency facilities, Address Book, or Coordinates. ?

AUX, USB and iPod Port

Use the input jack to connect an external audio device and listen through the vehicle's audio system. (iPod is a trademark of Apple, Inc.) ?

Driving Features

Dual Clutch Transmission

This transmission offers the convenience of automatic shifting with the efficiency of a manual transmission. It utilizes two clutches and a computer-controlled gearbox. Normal sounds may occur during engine start/stop. Hill hold assist provides a two-second stationary period on inclines. ⚙️

Modes:

Caution: Always use the foot brake on hills. Using creep mode to hold the car on a hill may damage the clutch. If the clutch overheats, a shudder may occur, and the instrument cluster may display a warning. Pull over, shift to Park, and apply the foot brake for a few minutes to cool the clutch.

Paddle Shifter

Available in D (Drive) or Shiftronic mode. Press [-] to downshift one gear. Press [+] to upshift one gear. ⬆️⬇️

Cruise Control / Smart Cruise Control

Cruise Control: Allows maintaining a constant speed. Buttons control ON/OFF, Resume/Increase speed, Set/Decrease speed, and Cancel. ⚙️

Smart Cruise Control: Maintains set speed and vehicle-to-vehicle distance. Distance can be set to one of four levels. Activates automatically when cruise speed is set. ?

Customer Delivery Checklist

This checklist ensures a thorough delivery process. It includes verifying tire pressure, vehicle condition (cleanliness, absence of chips/scratches), and floor mat security. Key features to review with the customer include the Quick Reference Guide, Bluetooth phone pairing, Navigation system operation, Voice Command/Quick Tip card, and Audio system operation. ✅

Bluetooth Hands-Free

Connecting Your Phone

On the radio: Press SETUP > Bluetooth > Bluetooth Connection > Add New. In your phone's Bluetooth settings: Select the Vehicle Name, then enter the passkey or authorize the connection.

Switching Between Paired Phones

Using Voice Command: "Change Bluetooth device". On the radio: Press SETUP > Bluetooth > Bluetooth Connection > Select Connect next to the desired phone.
